All of my characters were the best girls.

Top 5 VG Waifu lists peeps.

The list can’t end with 5. I’ll be here all day.

Sorry, five Waifus above them all.

Now THAT’S a list I can get behind.

However, no Waifus from games that are based on other Media. Otherwise Hinata would just auto-win.

Ib4 *******

Again you, LW, and anyone else who agrees with this are all wrong as a matter of fact and definition, you can’t disagree or argue your way out of this it’s pretty clear. A “good game” is relative to the person judging said game, just because a game doesn’t fit into your narrow view of what passes for “good” doesn’t mean that it isn’t good, it just isn’t “good” to you and your opinion is no more valid than anyone else’s in fact if anything your opinion loses validity the moment you think it’s a universal bench mark for how others should think.

It’s no secret I’m probably GD’s biggest proponent of plot and narrative heavy games, I love games which emphasize the story as much as I love games that emphasize game play mechanics it just depends on which I’m in the mood to play. I’ve probably said this a few times, but I remember about 4 or 5 years ago I woke up from a dream and had a sudden intense craving to play Indigo Prophecy it’s a game from 05, but here I am in 2010 not having given it a single thought since I saw commercials for it around launch date having a dream about it! All I could think about was…wow the TV commercials made it look so atmopsheric and mysterious and I really really felt like getting wrapped up in a good moody mystery so within minutes of waking up I ordered it on amazon and a week later when it came in the mail I tore into it beating it in a weekend and while the game overall had some serious flaws, it was EXACTLY the type of game experience I was craving and I felt so satisfied.

Well, that’s easy. I only have 5.

Games with bad gameplay are bad though.

Please watch this killer7 scene and tell me stories don’t make the game at times.

Stories don’t make games.

That may as well have been from a crappy movie. That isn’t a game.

He was supposed to do something if he lost a game of russian roulette?

Stories and gameplay together make games IMO.

If you can call a game with good gameplay but a subpar story a game yet call a good game with a good story but subpar gameplay a bad game then you are more closeminded than I feared. I like it when a game tries to justify me playing it by giving me a story as much as I like playing a game to play a game.

Dammit, I said I wasn’t arguing this.

(Killer7 has good gameplay. It’s story is just the main reason you’ll want to play it.)

BTW you are the antithesis to Angelpalm.

You’re all having this discussion on a fighting game website.

But this is GD. No one here plays fighting games.

But there are plenty of good fighting games with awful stories. I’ve never once played a good video game that had bad gameplay.

If you have a good story to tell, but gameplay takes a distant back seat, perhaps you should explore a medium that is less interactive.
