I am gonna be 100% serious-- I really don’t care-- I knew about the story and even ending before the game even came out. I really only posted that because I know William doesn’t really know shit about Batman, so he really does go in 100% unaware about shit everyone else might already know. Don’t want him to feel like he has to avoid shit because of it.
Although I really do avoid trailers and shit of that nature like the plague.

I had a Po moment with AK just now. Just discovered, or perhaps remembered that the traditional challenge maps that allow you to select your character is coming as DLC. Why, WHY THE FUCK are they not in the regular game??? It was one of my absolute favorite aspects to Arkham City, when I didn’t want to deal with the story, just mess with the free flow a bit. While AK is very much a fantastic game, I’m annoyed that it won’t be the game I wanted it to be until DLC is released. Just on GP this would piss me off but the release schedule is what bothers me. One piece of DLC a month is what I’m told. Why would they lead off with challenge maps? Barb is probably coming first. I won’t be able to use characters freely for challenge maps until August? At the very earliest?? MOTHERFUCK THAT. Burn this industry, burn it to the fucking ground. /Fryface
Having played the Harley campaign I’m not looking forward to the Batfamily campaigns at all. Harley’s story was throwaway and it lasts 30 minutes. I want more substantial content for Robin and Nightwing.

Just started playing through Arkham City. Still has all the familiar elements I remember from Asylum, and being able to avoid confrontation by traveling over rooftops is fun. Hopefully the main building interiors retain that dungeon-like aspect from Asylum (haven’t gotten that far just yet).
Overall looking good so far. Within the first hour it already solved my one minor gripe with Asylum thanks to the double take-downs, which is only a good sign.

City is a straight upgrade over asylum. This is nothing to downgrade asylum, it’s just how amazing city is. Im liking knight a lot so far, i dont like that the car has so much use but on the other hand, the city is so god damn huge that there is no way I’d travel through it.
That’s the Arkham Knight not Batman.
I’d rather Spider-Man through everything than drive most of the time, tbh.
From the little bit I’ve played so far, it seems the game turns into Transformers while in the Batmobile. I hope that doesn’t persist.
Gliding thru the city is definitely much faster, but I enjoy the Batmobile. Lol at enemies getting electrocuted when you “run” over them, tho. Batman’s a pussy, lol.
I’ve always preferred Batman’s method of never killing anyone, tbh.
LOL at electrocuting people and sending them flying 10 feet is less fatal then being run over by a tank.

Batman doesn’t kill because he knows it won’t stop at one if he does. Once he crosses that line he’ll end up in the same place as most of his rogue’s gallery.
Problem is everyone knows Batman’s a deluded fuck who’s only fooling himself. He’d be right at home with the rest of the kooks in Arkham.
