the vita is a portable Waifu machine and psx emulator. Which isn’t bad. But isn’t good either.
Vita needs more emus and cheap as hell HDD expansions. If they sell a 128 or 256 GB memory for under 30 bucks even I might bite. Till then Sony can eat a dick.
the Vita is pretty much the issue the Wii U has
not many stand out games, lack of promotion, etc.
seriously, it’s not a bad system, but it really doesn’t have the game library of the ds or even the 3ds
i like how people keep saying “it’s not a bad system” when the Vita is by far the best handheld EVER in terms of tech and design.
Sony are just dumb to let it die like this. It dosen’t bother me either way because when sony stops supporting it you can be sure
that the hacker community will turn the vita into your “all in 1 machine”.
And that is when I will probably buy 1. All the emus you can have on your mobile phone, but with actual joypads and analog stick and even buttons and shoulder buttons? If that thing could do phone calls I would sell my phone as well (unless it was cinavia protected, but I’d hope hackers would take care of that as well).

That being said Nintendo sucks even more, and xbox is fucking worthless.

With that large of a free library and the time invested into the machine it played itself of multiple times.
Vita is a great machine, too bad it appeared at a time where gaming became convoluted. imho it seems the most successful design for handhelds is the clamshell, they should make a clamshell minimalistic design of the Vita
I’m pissed that we will probably never get a vita LBP2. I, and many other LBP fans don’t like Tearaway. Not surprisingly, most who live Tearaway can’t get into LBP. There should have been sequels to each title.

The Vita is a better console than the 3DS, though. 3DS does better(and is said to be superior) because it actually gets supported.

Pretty much this, yeah vita is way stronger and etc. but for me it’s not the better system as the library is lacking, even the digital only section of the vita library is lacking.
But I don’t regret my vita purchase because i do have shit available that can keep me entertained that are purchases from a year or two ago

Speaking of Batman, I need to get back to finishing Arkham: Asylum. Been pretty much focusing solely on putting together Frame Data for Smash 4 after the patch dropped that I haven’t been doing anything else. Think I need to relax for a bit before I burn myself out…
I bought PSV a few months ago specifically to play GDLK indie games like Hotline Miami 2 and Titan Souls and I like it just as much as my 3DS.
Also since I’m on the topic, it’s crazy to me how so many gamers like exposedd and Po for example look at one or two of the most popular indie games like Shovel Knight and Fez and assume all other indie games are similar. While it is true many indie devs use pixelated graphics the fact is the indie scene is just as if not more varied aesthetically and gamemplaynwise as the big studio backed games, it’s like if I were to assume every Nintendo/EA/Acrivison/Blizzard/Bethesda/etc game played like Call of Duty.
I’m not saying everyone should love indie games like I do, but to lazily judge them and write them off just because 1 or 2 that you did take time to check out didn’t appeal to you is as close minded as it gets.
