lmao nah i googled before I asked. I got that Black and Sigma have slightly diff content, but no one was saying if there was shit like overall difficulty difference just stuff in terms of content lol. But shit I alredy got sigma. so I’ma just roll with that and SIgma 2 since I don’t have a 360.
I might hunt down Vanilla NG if I get a 360 soon. Thinking of buying my friends since he doesn’t console game, and i still want to play Tales of Vesperia and Blue Dragon
Vanilla II and Sigma II have the most differences. Vanilla has more gore, a higher enemy count(in the main campaign) and worse graphics. Sigma II has more content, 3 extra playable characters, a couple modes not in vanilla II(mission mode puts a massive amount of enemies on screen), less gore, less enemy count(in the main campaign) and way better graphics.
The lead changed the encounter rate to be more like Black/Sigma 1, but this didn’t make any sense because NGII and 3: RE are games based more on offense than defense(whereas any version of NG1 was the exact opposite.) There are less enemies overall in Sigma II, but they have more health and it’s harder to de-limb them. Sigma II is also easier than vanilla II. A majority of NG players prefer vanilla NGII to Sigma II, but they’re both amazing games and they both(imo) have the best combat in the genre. I prefer it even to Bayo, DMC, etc. etc. The gameplay in both games is literally identical.
If you end up enjoying Sigma 1/II(which I imagine you will because you look to be a fan of the genre) pick up dat Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. It’s the only game in the modern series to be identical across all platforms and the game itself is awesome. Don’t get vanilla NG3 because it’s garbage. Yaiba is mediocre too, but that game is already less than 20 bucks around here so I imagine you can snag it for less than 10 bucks soon.
The coolest thing about Razor’s Edge is that there are 3 extra playable characters and they can all be played in the campaign. In Sigma II, the extra characters can only be played in mission mode.
Effective 11/2-1/3, base model will be $349. Price cut will also apply to all bundles, so you could get the Sunset Overdrive or Unity (lol) bundles for $349. And who knows if MS will toss in any extra goodies as they often do every holiday season.
Wonder if Sony will stand firm with its price going into the holiday shopping season. Obviously, they want to charge as much as they can if the demand is still there.
FYI they guy who said it actually works for Sony’s Japan Studio. They make stuff like…Tokyo Jungle. So in this case it’s not FROM software spouting BS.
GOW isn’t really technical its literally more button mashy than a Musou game lol.
But man cool that X1 is doing the Price Drop MS is working hard to fix last years fiasco. because that shit was SLOPPY. Man if Scalebound was out or around the corner right now I would be hopping on that X1 deal. But I’m still waiting until Scalebound drops to buy mine
Gotta side with Gren on this, I’d be throwing a fucking fit if say Miyazaki said it instead.
Well, the producer “Masaaki Yamagiwa” is from Japan Studio which is part of SCEJA (Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia), so he’s on Sony’s payroll not From Software breh. I know the statement he said is really really stupid but let’s not point any fingers/elbows at the wrong group of people.
Thank god it wasn’t Miyazaki. Thankfully 30 fps is a good frame rate for the souls series ad they don’t generally have anything close to difficult inputs are crazy small windows, but yea tried DS1 a little while ago in a friend Computer and the 60 fps was really nice.
Oh yeah, forgot about those missions. They’re only 1 chapter per character and you don’t have the option of being able to go through the campaign as any of the extra characters. It’s that one mission+coop mission mode only.
I forgot Razor’s Edge has an Online VS mode too, and both NGS2 and RE can be played in online coop.
It’s about feel and response. No matter what type of game it is, 60FPS will always play better than 30. It be a CCG or video game adaption of a board game, I’ll still want that shit running on 60.
It’s true. I want to make people feel the pain of Exodia with as many frames as possible. And taking those corners in Monopoly requires those One Frame Links.
