The new Sleeping Dogs, Deus Ex and Legacy of Kain games are online multiplayer only. Square is determined to fuck up Eidos as much as the parent company.
I remember when Deus Ex: Human Revolution was announced I thought it looked really cool, but so many other great games were out at the time it got lost in the shuffle and I forgot about it’s existence until last year when I bought it on steam, I had no hype going into it because I didn’t know what to expect I just had a science fiction game craving, and to my surprise the game blew me away. It’s not perfect as being forced to fight the bosses in only 1 way was disappointing and the skill tree was too small it felt like a teaser, but those are minor complaints on what is one of the most cohesive, thought provoking, and entertaining games of last generation.
I think a sequel that is “more of the same but with more stuff” could be one of the best games of this generation too, please Squeenix don’t be stupid, lazy, and greedy…sigh I have a better shot at asking for a PC release of Shenmue 3 before Squeenix changes it’s ways.
Capcom may not make sequels to games that don’t sell 2 mill copies

I have no idea why Square would try this, Deus Ex Human Revolution was a focused single player experience that sold extremely well and received universally high acclaim. Don’t fix what isn’t broken expand upon it, just give us more options, choices and general open ended ness increase the variety while keeping the gameplay intact.
Also don’t just repurpose an old engine this time, the amazing art direction should have made the game look like one if the best games of the last gen but they had to work against the shitty ass Godfather 2 engine because you were too cheap to pay for licensing a new, actually good engine.
