New REmake PS4~Gamecube comparison video
Looking a lot better than the original batch of screenshots they showed. Not sure why IGN always wastes time comparing FMV footage; there’s always going to be negligible differences there.
With REmake coming to other systems, it’s pretty much guaranteed PS5 and the next Xbox will be getting Bayo 2.

Neither, it’s a remastered port so I think they’re just working off the OG engine. They best put Panty Raid to good use soon; MT Framework was a champ but by RE6/Dogma it was certainly showing its limitations.
EDIT: While we’re on REmake, some promo was successful & BSAA costumes for Jill & Chris will be in the game
I think it’s noteworthy just because we’ll have both Jewish Chris & the 'roided-up, boulder-punching monster version in the same game.
So it’s using the OG engine? … intriguing.
One more thing I should point out. The game’s (ESRB) content descriptors list “Violence, Blood, Language”, which is a slight change from the normal “Intense Violence, Blood & Gore, etc” descriptors it receives. Does this mean RE-HD will lack headshots and specialized player deaths?
You’re paying way more attention than the ESRB deserves.
If it were up to me, all videogames would be rated E for everyone.
Or maybe the ESRB’s standards have been loosened up a little bit. Something that was considered violent in 2002 is laughable by today’s standards. Likewise, something that was violent in 1992, probably got laughed at in 2002. Makes me think what the standards will be like in 2022.
After that Quan Chi sword fatality in MKX, not sure I’d want to know.

Didn’t capcom decomission the MT Framework engine? I remember Max making a huge deal of that news on his channel a few months back. Pretty much every Capcom game used it last gen and the majority looked pretty alright.
