Whenever a JRPG is being discussed, FF(usually VII, but the latest one will come up as well) will be brought up, and people will start bickering over which characters they hate(Lightning, Cloud) and the mechanics sucking since VIII, someone will be hipster and claim to like XII and XIII despite their inherent shittiness, some closet pedos will bring up Pretty Pretty Dress-Up, er, I mean X2, and blah, blah, blah…
Dragon Age being pushed back is for one of two reasons.
They are trying to avoid the initial fall onslaught of games coming out and release it during a less competitive week.
There is something just fundamentally fucked up with the game and they are trying to conjure up excuses for it.
A 2 week delay is not enough to fix any major or really minor issues at this point. The game at this stage is already in final development and just waiting on approval.
No, no no, no no.
Ninja Theory will turn it into a orange and blue action game that will be a “shakesperean satire” on the evils of the new media, it will their take on Gatchaman Crowds.
All the random hate for FF7 is largely induced by the bunch of twats that started playing RPGs with FF7. Look, I love the game. The intro to that game still gives me little kid holy shit I got a psOne goosebumps. Is it the best, nope? Unfortunately we do have all the fat girls that love Sephiroth in a bishy bishy way. Even worse than that was FF7 paving the way for FF8 (which is the ultimate fat girl lol kawaii game).
So…its a solid game all around. Lots of fun shit to do. Barret and Cid are manly as all fuck. Killing the weapons was hype as fuck.
I think a bigger issue we should discuss is why is that I can’t use my buttons for shooting anymore in this wicked era of double analog stick games. I would get far more accuracy out of using my buttons to shoot 8 ways than using the right stick.
I agree. But to be honest, the stick is quicker as it pertains to how fast or slow you can start to look at somehting, especially with the ease you can switch which way you’re looking. It’s not kbm, but its as close as you can get. They sacrificed accuracy for speed, and I think they’re justified.
