Sunset Overdrive looks awesome! It had my eye at last year’s E3, and those gameplay .gifs didn’t dissapoint. But after buying the WiiU, I need the twins to match $300 with a pack-in game. $400+ w/subscription fee isn’t going to cut it.
Not sure why people want Nintendo to go the Sony or MS route.
yeah the community is tight. local multiplayer is super cheap and actually fun, both generations of xbox ps4 local multiplayer have been both expensive and forgettable to the point of forgetting. ps4 tried to do remote play but playing ps4 games on the vita is horrid, the frame rate is a joke, the actual feeling is horrible, the triggers suck, the vita is rock hard. playing the gamepad rivals having an ipad, its so comfortable and the tilted design allows it to nicely sit on a table without a stand. information reaches the gamepad before HDtv’s. it is waaaaayyyyy ahead of xbox one and ps4 in these areas
so yeah most definitely its excellent in its own way, its just losing out on games because everyones flocking to xbox one and ps4 believing that the graphics will be on par with PC, it isnt. I do like my ps4 I really do like what they’re doing but with the games that are coming out for wii u this year and PC getting more console games the ps4 is looking like fourth place behind ps3. the only reason I don’t feel like it was a let down is because I respect what they’re doing with indies and they’ve set up nicely for VR. but with VR they will be competing with the oculus rift on the PC.
so yeah Wii U is filling a void that ps4 cant fill

Free to play Unreal Tournament? What ever happen to embracing the mod community? One of the best things about Unreal Tournament is overtime they get better and better due to the huge support from the mod community, and what exactly are they going to put behind a paywall, classic characters and maps? Wait… You know what, I see what they’re doing now. The community content will be placed behind the paywall. For you to experience any of the content created by the community it’ll require you to have some sort of premium membership. I’m down only if the content creator gets my dollar. But still… F2P UT :bluu:

I’m worried about Sunset Overdrive though. I have doubts the Xbone audience will even buy that game. Look what happened with Titanfall. It sold under expectations, even though it was the flagship “exclusive”.
Sunset isn’t a shooter or like anything else ever really released on Xbox. It could very well bomb.
Anyone who likes third person action/shooters should be hype for Sunset overdrive also from a technical perspective it’s just damn impressive THAT is what I call next gen…too bad it’s for Xbone which I don’t see myself buyting until at least 2016.
The real interesting thing about Sunset Overdrive is that Microsoft let Insomniac keep the rights to the game. It’s part of the stuff that was revealed in Edge’s cover story for the game.

I’m hearing rumors about a demo of uncharted 4. My body is ready.
Kinda worried about Uncharted 4, with all the news of key people leaving Naughty Dog over the past few months I keep imagining that at this point the game’s only being made by a single person doing mad multitasking skills.
But last time they just bought Rare. Insomniac is in a 2nd party contract.
I really hope for Sunset Overdrive to blow up because I am always for Insomniac’s succe. I know they had to feel some type of way when Sony bought MediaMolecule over them. But who knows, maybe they never wanted to be a first party.
