im reallly amazed at the people who can play those games…more than once. like wtf do you do in your life that your have so much time you can devote to rpg’s? i envy them.
-I actually thought DBZ Sagas wasn’t bad for the longest time.
-I only really like Little Big Planet because you can smack the shit out of another Sackboy/Sackgirl.
-I think FFVII sucks, and FFVIII and FFT are the best in the series.
-I actually attempted to beat the official world record for Urban Champion on NES…and murdered the record. Too bad I couldn’t record it.
-I bought a PS2 again JUST to play DBZ Infinite World.
I brought Sims 1 deluxe edition, worst mistake I ever made ( not to mention a waste of money. ) It sat gathering dust for about 2 years until my younger sister stumbled across it and asked me to install it for her and then she got hooked on it. Ah well, its good to see it getting some use by a sibling.
When my brother left for Australia at start of the year, he left his Xbox 360 and PS3 behind, apart from the sister taking the PS3 into her room, the Xbox360 pretty much sat gathering dust for about 3 months ( apart from some sort bursts of play from me ) until SSFIV came out, which is pretty much all I play on it. ( apart from the occasional MvC2 and HDR )
I lose interest in most modern games very fast and so I have never finished the likes of GTA4, Batman AA, Need for Speed, games like that. ( Notable exceptions, the CoD: MW series but the single player in those were short but interesting nevertheless. )
I wasn’t let buy the original Pokemon game back in 2000 because my family all thought I’d turn into a zombie, even being forced to return the game as a result of their BS. Basically, they thought anything Nintendo = kiddies stuff ( Playing SNES turned me into a shut in when I had it, I’m an introvert anyway ) and I needed to grow out of that and get out, get a life and get some friends which caused me all sorts of problems I won’t go into.
Ironically, 10 years later, SSFIV has opened more doors to me than almost anything else than I’ve done.
I used the turbo button to get past Gief’s c.lkx4 EXGH combo in SSF4…fuccin 1-frame link BS.
I think counter strike sucks…
- :bluu:
I agree.
It’s not the fact that they were OHKs which pissed me off. It’s the randomness of it and also the lag. I would sometimes have the HUGE ASS aiming reticle over some guy’s head and be using burst fire and I hit nothing but air. Then I see some guys with their back turned getting these next instant headshots through cars and other impenetrable objects. Grabbing someone for CQC, headshot, or people diving off buildings and somehow “PING” headshot. The thing is even though this kind of thing happens in online shooters, it happened in MGO too frequently.
The perks were definitely a major problem as well and really killed any kind of diverse skill set that the players could of come up with. I liked using the knife but having to use a level 3 knife skill and level 1 CQC so I could get the abilty to slit throats was waaaay too costly.
LOL I enjoyed it at the time as well.

I never completed Shinobi on the PS2. I got to the last boss and I kept getting his health down to the last portion but he just kept kicking my ass.
-
I used to LOVE Dynasty Warriors but DW6 was such a failure I have given up on the series.
There’s no shame with not being able to beat Shinobi on the PS2. That final boss was a real bastard, with his ability to just ignore a powered-up slash and all. I mean, I could tate (one-shot) the level 1-7 bosses, but not the level 8 one.
MGO is my favourite online shooter.
More:
-I really just bought Halo 3 to see/experience how the story would be concluded. I didn’t have much interest in the multiplayer unless it was co-op, and the crew I played with only played thru co-op campaign once or twice. I’ve played competitive online multiplayer in that game like 2 or 3 times at the most. I’ve had absolutely no desire to play the game ever again. Haha, my annoying friend (new nickname: “The Most Annoying Man in the World?”) STILL occasionally wants to play that shit…and all this time I’ve continually lied to him about my game being “lost”. That was the truth at one point; I had no idea where it was after moving to my current apartment. I found it eventually, and just continued to lie about the situation. It’s become like an amusing little thing to me now, where he might say "I bet you still can’t find your Halo 3, can ya?", and I’m like “Nah. I’ve given up on looking for it.” Lies and deception are fun. haha, I haven’t played that crap since 2007.
-I also have those Burger King games. I enjoyed Pocketbike Racer and Sneak King, and yes I played long enough to get quite a few achievements out of them (not all though). I don’t even like Burger King’s food. When those games came out, it was the first time I’ve been to a BK in several years.
-Back in the day of SF2 for SNES…I would pause the game on that specific frame of animation where it looks like Chun Li has no panties on. It’s during her jump animation.
-I previously considered myself a fan of Megaman, but in reality I only owned Megaman 3. I’ve never even played parts 1 or 2. I definitely wouldn’t go back to play them now since it was part 3 that apparently introduced the slide.
-I did so poorly at the new Shadowrun for 360, I didn’t even want to play it again since it seemed everyone in the damn world was 10x better than me. That was basically the end of the game for me, since it is 99% online multiplayer.
-I also thought Sonic Heroes was great…in my opinion, most Sonic fans are just insanely picky, and they will verbally destroy whatever new Sonic game comes out no matter WHAT the hell a developer does with the franchise. The next could literally be a perfect game made by God Himself, and you’ll see nothing but bitchin’ and moaning on forums everywhere about why it sucks. I don’t think the averagae Sonic fan even wants to like the franchise anymore. They hate out of habit at this point.
LOL I did something similar when I was little. Can’t remember what game tho.
If you’re a gamer and haven’t done this type of thing on ANY game at any point in your life, you are not a true gamer. Go get that certification bro.
I think I used to pause it on the kikosho animation.
And yes, Sonic fans will shit on any and every Sonic game that isn’t a EXACT replica of Sonic 2/Sonic Adventure 2. I was reading some fansite’s forums (I fucked up at this part) about the new Sonic 4, and they hate the fact that DIMPS is working on it so much, that they edited Sonic 2 to add in a shitton of speed boosters to call it Sonic 2: DIMPS edition. So classy.
I dont play scary games ie: silent hill, resident evil because I get scared easily.I hate scary stuff and scary movies. Im a big frady cat…:shake:
Also, I have never beaten a Mario game except that one on the DS where they were fighting with their baby forms. I’ll beat a yoshi themed game all day though.
in sf4 training mode you always gotta play vs chun because her dizzy animation is gdlk.
i stepped on my playstation because i couldn’t beat the tekken 2 cpu on hard and i got mad
I still cop it, I just think that FIFA is more suspenseful and ill.
i told my parents that when we get a wii (some years ago) that I’ll only play games that require you to use a wiimote that mimics the simulated action… some months later, I’m playing games that use the Gamecube remote and been sticking to those only…
I find Secret of Evermore to be my favorite SNES RPG hands down and think SoM2 was gutter trash and very happy we got SoE instead.
I used to go into practice mode in CVS1 and use Mai. I’d pause it mid attack in the air and jack off to it depending on if it looked hot enough, because at the time I didn’t have a computer with an internet connection. Plus back then you didn’t have loads of streaming porn like you do now. Also I abused the FUCK out of the abort button glitch in San Francisco Rush 2049 1.0 on track 4 and 5. FUN TIMES GUYS.
- I owned a Jaguar.
- I used an entire paycheck to buy a Dreamcast, 3 Controllers, 2 VMU’s and 4 games on launch day. (9/9/99)
- I used to schedule vacation days weeks in advance when a WoW expansion came out.
- I don’t beat 99% of the games I buy. I get to the near and, and never touch them again.
Oh yeah, I have actually gone out of my way to grind up to level 99 in Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door.
Alright, who here had Virtual Boy?
