i have never played a Tomb Raider game, nor watched the movies, nor have I masturbated to Lara Croft (or oddly enough, any other video game characters, even Sakura’s f+mk).
Also, I was UBER hyped for Oblivion, still enjoyed it, but Morrowind was far superiour, and Oblivion did not add enough to differentiate itself from Morrowind, aside from graphics (in fact, they took shit OUT). I was also REALLY let down by how fucking lame the Arcane University (or whatever it was called) was, and how much they butchered the item/spell creation.
i might do that, ill check it out on yt first.
also we broken a whole lot of pads before in the days. snes (fucking l and r, start and select), neo cd pads (killed at least 5). but i still cant breack my neo geo sticks no matter how rugged the shit gets.

that fantasy star looks real good imo. i just love those 80’s/early 90’s anime style cuts. it takes me back to the times where i really was into anime hardcore (mid 80’s to mid 90’s). its got that macross, venus wars look/feel to it.
not videogame related, but for somebody that was REALLY (i owned about 200 vhs tapes, og and copies) into anime back in the days, i hate the genre now. animes in general, the people producing it, and the people enjoying it. i can stand any of that shit. last “good” anime i watched was girl that leapt through time. now all the shit is aimed at their main target, pre teen or teen wack offs that all wanna watch animu strong girls or lolis in skimpy cloaths giving panty shots and doing some retarded ass bs that doesnt make any sense. and their support cast of fuck ups that comments on them being very cool, yay. the genre was way better and more creative in the mid 80’s and 90’s imo, even basic shit like devilman and 3x3 eyes was gold compared to all the shit coming out now.

as much as i love ps4, i think sf2 (shinning force) is way better. sf2 is one of the few rpgs that i played numerous times over and see myself doin so again multiple times in the future.
ps4 has a great storyline (better than ff6’s), but the gameplay drags and i can’t bear playin it for too long if it weren’t for the story.

I bought KOF XII twice.
looool, ive been into kof since 94 and still own them all on my neo. i didnt buy 12 even once, let alone twice. i even brought back kof 96 back in the days cause it was crap. support good shit, not a name. in other wordfs, buy 13 twice or thrice.
I decided to give it a second shot. No one plays online anymore so I didn’t waste my time and sold it again.

Speaking of KoFXII…I’ve purchased a lot of games this gen, and none have disappointed me more than that game. Seriously, that was the most underwhelming release for me so far, but that might just be because I have great respect and enjoy KOF a lot.
See, this is a case where you should have your cake and eat it too! Shining Force 1 and 2 are both amazing tactical RPGs with great stories. Phantasy Star 4 is the best classic RPG released on the genesis (and arguably of the 16 bit era though FF4 and 6 have fair arguments as well…). The story for 4 was just so epic in scope and besides, when you get the best crotchedy old man priest EVER (RAJA YOU ARE SO THE MAN! ER… Dezolian…), the game is that much better because you realize your basically invincibile with him the party. There’s so many cool side quests and little side dungeons in 4… makes me happy just thinking about all the great PS4 memories… Like when Kyra learns who Rune really is… YEAH THERE’S A MOMENT FOR YA! SURPRISE!
Oh but Shining Force 2 starts out with the destruciton of an entire country and your forced exile to the mainland! Too epic…
Damn it… I’m going to go replay them both now… THANKS GUYS FOR WASTING ANOTHER 45 TO 60 HOURS OF MY LIFE! :tup:

See i’ve played through PS4 probably close to 15 times and still enjoy the game play haha. The macro system and combo abilities i feel have yet to be topped in a jrpg /shrug. there are a few things that are dated on it but it beats the hell out most of the convoluted systems in later games
I searched high and low for the Arcade version of Rygar. Only to never find it again.
I mainly played both on consoles, (even though I do have Oblivion on PC, it just doesn’t run well) but I do want to go back and play FO3 and maybe New Vegas when I build a decent comp mainly just for mods. heh
