Plus there might be some leeway on this combo depending on the hitbox of the ultra.

Yun looks crazy strong already. Whiff palms charge decent meter and stop projectiles. Looks like you can get a super per round. Even so you’ll never be without meter for potential Genei Jin/BnB dash punch corner Ultra…

My main concern now is that everybody will scream that Yun is too op in AE, and they’ll nerf him when they bring him to consoles. I want a perfect arcade port, ok Capcom? PERFECT.
Again, people should not speculate whether or not he is too strong. We don’t have the game on consoles and it’s only been 1-2 days of AE. People said, before Super was out, Dudley was OP.

Well that was because he was a better char during the loc test, just like deejay. But then they nerfed both character before release. Now the game already has been released.
From what I’ve seen so far I’m pretty impressed with what Yun can do. When AE comes to NorCal I’ll try and get some videos of myself playing Yun up.
When AE comes to CTF, i will do the same.
Yes nerf the character with Low stamina, no safe reversal and has to be up close to do most of his damage relying on mixups and strings. :rolleyes:
The pros about Yun are balanced out by his cons.
Fast meter building, Great super, Good ultras both to be situational, especially since majority will use U1 now unless ways to land U2 are figured out since Projectile characters are said to be weaker. Has a great rushdown and mixup pressure game.
He has low stamina, his normals aren’t the best due to range but probably will be sufficient in most cases, Doesn’t have a reliable reversal (FADCable), and I highly doubt EX palms will be incredibly useful as a reversal cause it only has lower body invincibility,
I for one, welcome our new Yun overlords.

most pros think Dudley sucks even couple days before the game released. Mago was the one who think Fei Long should be top 3 after like one week. Remember, Americans have different tier list than Japan in super. Nobody rates Fei Long top tier in US.
Right now, almost all the top jp players agree Fei Long, Yang and Yun are top tier characters.
this is looking great! yun seems to have a very fast dive kick pressure game. 
I cant wait to main him again.
