When on the ground spin the stick and hit guard and punch as fast as you can while rolling to one side to get up at the fastest time. Rolling backward is probably to slow to avoid the pounce.

plus i use sarah for reading characters and tricking and hitting weak points in strict timing (why are her comboes weak?)

Sarah’s Flamingo doesn’t take much life at all unless:
#1 She enters it having crouch staggered you
#2 You the opposing player fucked up
I know Slide isn’t really big on the 3K combos so chances are he hit you with a lot of catch throws and you being a n00b probably got gatling kicked. Or perhaps he kept hitting your with K and low kick JF combo that it seemed like he took a lot of damage.
Flamingo is easy to beat even in rough lag cause all you need to due is hold crouching guard and delay low punch or high punch. That’s it. No need to evade in any direction unless you are after big damage return.
Lag was present the moment we played. Like I said, I only kept going cause you’re from SRK and I figured that since you were from the UK it’s going to be like this no matter what.
But then I played Judgement Six. He’s from France. Games were as smooth as ever. His Vanessa was on point too.
