Let me get this straight…I Raff I Ruse?

Hate or love 4chan, an American based ISP has no right to dictate what people can and cannot see on the internet. This is not China.

KnoWing 4chan, this makes me somewhat happy in that once this blows up in their face the odds of other ISPs pulling something similar would be less I’d think.

damn, Verizon doesn’t know whats coming to them.

This isnt true, Major Corporations are all part of what is reffered to as “Big Brother”, and yes, a very, very poor move.

Think about it, 4chan is easily one of the most trafficked sites that isn’t an e-mail client or google. Their /b/ section alone probably has on average 10,000 people posting every half hour and God knows how many reading. As soon as Verizon tries to block them then that’s thousands of people immediately mobile to spread filth and anger about Verizon. On top of that, they’re more vocal than some special-interest groups I know.

While it might seem stupid, I’m really glad that the ‘people’ have some measure of defense here.

True 4chan has trolled Oprah before, yeah… and I dont even know wtf 4chan even is.

1st it was AT&T now Verizon. I’m calling T-Mobile 2011 and Spring 2012. BET IT SON!

So i just tried the website on my phone (EnV touch), and it worked fine…maybe the articles old?

Fuck 4chan

4chan is probably the only site that i think should be wiped off the face of the earth.

That’s cuz you’re a newfag, and we all know that newfags can’t triforce.

lol haha

If people could post as Anonymous on SRK people would post just as stupid shit as people do on 4chan, in fact, some people already post dumber shit than anyone on 4chan does, see: any of spud’s posts.

imo.

This thread is weak as fuck.

Actually, they do. Like it or not, Verizon owns the network, they can block at their discretion. If the customers don’t like it, they’re free to use another provider. That’s what an American-based ISP can do.

This is accurate, but unlike China, Verizon has to answer to its subscribers whom, based on statistics, are more likely than not people that post on 4chan. 4chan: the new force of capitalism, for better or worse.

imo.

I believe 4chan is the second most visited site on the web next to Gaia online.
