Sorry for double post, but, we could also just carpool to WNF if anyone’s down to pitch in for gas money. I’d consider being the driver too.
I’d totally be down for that… if I didn’t have obligations for the next few weeks on Wednesday. However, for future reference, I’d totally be down. And I’d pitch in for gas money. I fucking miss WNF, man. I miss it a lot, and I’d drive out there, but I save my car (which is old) for when I really need to make a move, so anyone who’d be willing to drive would be quite handy.
My car shouldn’t be driven that far really either, especially since I’m starting to rack up a lot of miles on it, but if people pitched in for gas, I’d drive regardless.
Sadly I think this Weds. is one of the only days I can go to WNF for a while since I’m now on spring break so I don’t have any class the next day.
If you guys are interested, I can give you guys a ride. My car is a little old, but it’ll handle trips to LA just fine. Enough room for 4. I’ve been curious about WNF’s.
Actually WNF is located in Walnut, CA now at Super Arcade, which is around around half an hour from LA.
The trip will probably take an hour and a half if we’re lucky with traffic, and that’s just one way, so it’d have to be if you really want to go or not. If you’d be interested in driving I’d be down to go and pitch in for gas. Lemme know if you want to go though!

I’d love for something local to still be around… it sucks that Denjin closed down. There’s really no arcades in Ventura county that I know of Sometimes a guy named Isaac has game nights at his house in Santa Paula, but that’s kinda rare. That’s all I have for local players with a venue.
Hey guys i haven’t posted in a while because stupid school wouldn’t let me host any casuals or tourneys there but if you are a UMVC3 player i suggest on tuesdays going to Culver City. http://www.facebook.com/groups/219499478135553/ Tape-bot, Upa, LLND, Infrit, Royal Flush and alot of other good players go there and there’s a good amount of setups so you get plenty of games in.
Is there an entrance fee? Also, do you guys solely run Marvel 3 or do you have any SFIV/ SFxT ( or other games) set up?
It’s generally Marvel 3 only. You can ask if they will have anything else in the facebook group but i have never seen SSF4 ever. I know they had SFxT last week but no tourney and they had KoF13 casuals on occasion and MvC2/MvC1, Alpha and other random games after like 11 or so. Also the fee is 3 dollars.

Edit: Okay so my friend can’t go, but if anyone want’s to come with me and partner up I’d be down. I picked up Ryu lately, and he’s broken as hell and can pair up great with practically anyone in the cast, so if anyone wants to play doubles with me and get a ride let me know!

You able to do EWGF at all? I picked up Kaz for a while but I was never able to do EWGF consistently so I said fuck it and went with Guile/Ryu with Raven.
I can’t do EWGF consistently (hence, my team of Ryu/Kazuya is heavily Ryu dependent) but I’ll try and work something out.
Too bad we can’t rock Ryu/Ryu, shit would be mad OP
