Full Sanwa rebuild. (x8 OBSF30mm Pushbottons with foam silencer ring inserts, x1 OBSF24mm Pushbutton, Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT Joystick with Seimitsu Bubbletop and Sanwa Dual layer Dustwasher, and 2 extra Sanwa Balltops/OBSF30mm pushbottons.)
I apologize if this isnāt the correct place for this. I am a very infrequent poster. I recently bought a Mayflash F500, which evidently is a clone of the Venom stick. Itās easy to work with (much easier than the old days of Mayflash sticks with their damn 28mm button holes). The stock parts arenāt actually terrible, which is a real surprise. Still, I plan to put in a JLF and Sanwa buttons.
I want to replace the stock art sheet, but I am no artist. I want an Ayane themed arcade stick from the Dead or Alive fighting game series.
I am looking to commission someone to create custom art for me for this stick. I also need the art printed and shipped, and if someone has specific expertise, cut to size.
If someone can help me out, please let me know. I live in Canada, but am willing to commission anyone who has the skills and ability to mail me the art ready to apply.
I might be able to help you, Iāve customized a Venom and a Mayflash V2 which should have the same dimensions as the F500. I have an A3 printer and a cutting machine.
PM me if youāre interested, Iāll post some photos of my work below (the photos arenāt as sharp as Iād like due to taking them in low light conditions but the print quality in real life is extremely sharp).
Hey for anyone who has modded their Mayflash F500 with Sanwa or seimitsu parts, would you consider selling the 9 stock red buttons the stick comes with? Assuming they are in good condition. I know theyāre not as good as real name brand buttons, but Iām surprisingly fond of them and would like to use them in another stick, especially if someoneās willing to sell their unwanted stock buttons on the cheap.
Hi guys!
Sorry for my bad english but I need few info since I would like to mod my Venom stick.
I just wish to make it full sanwa and as far as I understand Iāll need the following stuff:
this is the cable you need. The one that comes with the joystick itself only has the 5 pin connector on 1 side. This cable allows you to connect the joystick to the PCB with minimal effort.
The joystick that is in the Venom has an 8 pin connector but there is a spot for a 5 pin on your PCB.
Those buttons look correct also. You may want a single OBSF 24mm button for your āStartā button if you chose to replace it.
Other than that, you will just need a balltop for the joystick and youāre good to go.
Iām not sure about the templates as I do not own an A3 printer.
Hello! New to the forums here just wondering if thereās anyone out there that will do the service of helping me out with a few custom art designs? I have a few ideas but not the know how to design in software.
Heās in the UK so his times differ from ours it seems. However, he is generally quick to respond and easy to work with. He also seems to care a lot about customer satisfaction. Worth the wait in my opinion.
Cool use of a MG RX-78-2 3.0 kit box. I have that finished kit on my desk at work. I was surprised that the cardboard is thin enough to fit under the plexi without issue.
