If you read some of the earlier post we already covered this, this is primarily sold in select countries in Europe.
The closest thing we (us Americans) got to the venom stick in the US is the Mayflash v2 which as a completely different PCB and does not support the PS4.
Yeah, I completely read the thread trying to see if there was some US retailer. All I could see was people were ordering from Spainās Amazon site and doing international shipping, was hoping I missed something since iād rather not deal with conversion rates and ordering from a website in another language. ( I know I can use translate, but still)
You could get it off the UKās site. Itās currently listed as 69 GBP (⦠and apparently, no VAT if you buy from the USA, so I got charged something like 58 GBP)
Shipping was ~6 GBP for me. $102 roughly at the time of purchase.
I donāt have my artwork ready yet, if I take the sanwa buttons and plug them in and take them out and in again to get the artwork on, will the clips of the buttons get more slack/worse? I read something about them losing their stiffness after a while
I just aquired a Venom Fightstick. As a new fightstick user Iām having trouble with the joystick: When I move all the way down, then back, I sometimes do not get a defensive crouch (=down-back). You can hear that only one of the microswitches registers.
My question: Is the stick bad, or is it my execution? Would upgrading to a Sanwa/Seimitsu joystick solve that problem? Iām ultimately planning to mod the stick anyway, but Iād rather save my bucks right now.
Iād say it definitely sounds like the stick is faulty. The stock stick may not be complete crap, but itās not of particularly good quality either.

Thanks, then Iām off ordering the parts. I hear the JLF is the standard, so Iāll go with that. Unfortunatly I donāt know people near me with a stick so I could try out different joysticks.
From my experience, it sounds like you may just be adjusting to the square gate. If that corner is a big issue for you, the JLF wonāt make that better. The LS-32, while still square, has a slightly different feel in the corners which i found to be helpful when trying to learn square gate.
Also if you are new to sticks in general you skill level takes a dive until you can acclimatize to the new control scheme.
Only way to do that is to practice.
I tested my friendās venom. Itās my joystick. I donāt have that problem on his stick. I guess mineās just broken. I tried contacting Venom support but havenāt heard anything yet. Iāll wait until I hear from them before disassembling the stick. I wouldnāt really know where to look for the error anyway. Maybe one of the microswitches is loose? Is that possible?
When I go left, down-left, I consistently get down-left. If I go down, down-left, then I often only get a down direction. You canāt hear the second (left) microswitch activating.
