So I just got mine through the post today and I have to say I’m quite impressed. The stock parts aren’t horrendous but I’ll defo be modding with custom art, Sanwa buttons and stick.
Took a picture to show its comparative size against the Madcatz TE and SE sticks.
Some really good example on here guys - good work!!
I just tested it out, the turbo light went up when I turned it on, but the controller lights do not. I opened mine up to see if I had messed anything with my salty bashing and everything is in order, the only problem I could see it having is the USB cable having bad contact, and that’s easy to fix. That said, I only had loss of connection once and it was not total, only the buttons got jumbled up, so probably not the same issue.
I tested it out. The controller lights do not light up on the PS4. I suspect that it is because on the PS4, you do not have controller indicator lights (1-2-3-4). You have colors (blue/red/yellow/pink). I plugged the controller in the PS3 and the indicator lights come on.
As long as it works!
I swapped the Venom parts for Sanwa parts. Much much more sensitive.
My female cables just arrive, and the hayabusa is in my countries central delivery, should be here tmw. Ordered my buttons from Akishop 8 days ago and they still haven’t shipped. I think it’s time for an angry email
As someone who plays on PC exclusively, is there any reason to get the Venom instead of the Mayflash MF002? I plan to change the buttons and lever for Sanwa ones so I’m not really concerned about their quality.
However I have read that for some the plexi on the Mayflash cracked (I’m assuming due to normal usage), so I wonder if the Venom is of the same or possibly a higher build quality.
I think I’ve read, both in this thread and elsewhere, that the artwork is glued to the inside of the plexi in the Mayflash, whereas on the Venom it isn’t. So if you want to swap out the art, the Venom is the better choice.
Pretty sure the build quality is exactly the same.
Yes, the only difference being that you flip the harness upside down where it fastens to the lever. All Seimitsu levers with a 5 pin connection are like that.
My Hayabusa arrived today, but I can’t connect the female to female cable to it and I’m afraid to apply to much force to it. Can anyone post pics of the correct way to do it?
