elcubanoloco:
The only Claw players I ran into were Tatsu, German Luger and Cuban Ace (awesome to meet you in person, mang!) I played Poongko on the stage and got sent to losers. I almost had him the second match, but I choked and ended up just taking a round from him.
I went 7-2 overall, beating iPeru’s Yun and Fuerte 2-1 off stream along the way before losing to a decent Fei Long from Mexico. I think his name was Kira, but I’m not 100% sure. If I had won, I would’ve had to face Kindevu so yeah…
Hope to meet some of you next year if possible!
i was your judge … then again it wasnt the first time we met.

I actually said “I’m going to see if Evo changes my perspective.” Though if people rather that I disappear from here then…
Also, Vegaman, nice question in the SF x T panel, I’m sad that I didn’t get the chance to come up and say hi to you after.
@Emersion Work won’t let me have it off =( sad panda
i woulda saved you a seat in the front if you had said hi before the panel
Emersion:
@gaf and elcuban
I saw your matches on stream, too bad you guys lost when the showlights where on you
Good fights!
I was sad not to see any vega later in the brackets, but its such a tough competition and AE does not favor defensive “solid play” characters if your not Fei Long.
You could see that with nearly no charge characters AT ALL in top 64 and 32. (were there any?)
@francys
Sounds like tournament jitters coupled with a tough Yun draw to me… bad luck happens.
Having lagless ways to play at home will help im sure.
Hope to see you at SVB if your going!
Thanks man. A myriad of reasons I lost, but ultimately it came down to me not knowing the matchup as much as I needed to, and not being on point. The only counter to yun’s dive kicks was standing light punch, which was annoying. lol always next year. There should probably be an established place where Vega players meet.
