I agree with the whole stop bashing the new players thing, especially because I’ve been seeing drastic improvements in everyone every week. The top 2-3 players haven’t changed yet, but everything below that definitely is getting mixed up, and I had to switch out to rog before semis because people making me sweat.
I’m down for practice this week as I’m on Spring break, if anyone has XBL you can add me on that as well if you want to play. I need to work on my Sim

Seriously, I was playing Bernie this week and everytime we did a move at the same time there was lag (rog headbutt & viper knuckle). Plus the week before that I had a bad time with one of those PS2 2 PS3 convertors just failing on me mid match with chun. This week we had more straight 360 sticks than PS3 if I recall correctly. I know my friend ending up having to use the PS3 pad cause there was not an extra stick to use and he got tired of waiting. I’d be willing to bring in my 360 with my copy of SF4 next week if that is what people want. Most people have been pretty respectful when I leave my 360 stick for everyone to use so I got no problem with this.
@Mno: thanks for letting other people use your TE stick. I know I was asking you quite a few times so people could use it.

I agree with Macc and Wes. I have a significantly harder time playing on PS3 than 360, and I would also like to request to Biggee that my matches be on a 360.

Macc…we played our match on 360. In fact, every match I played this week besides my last was on 360. Never had a problem other than using one stick.
Either way, thanks for peeps letting me borrow sticks this week but I’m never not bringing my own stick again. For people with ps2-ps3 adapters, the only ones you want to use would be Pelican or inPin, the latter being easier to find in general. Everything else seems to be hit and miss.
Can someone new (not the same guys I’ve played for 3+ years) get at me next week on ST/HDR? I’ll try to come through on time for any MMs if necessary. My mvc1 offer also stands indefinitely from last time, tho this might have to wait till the supergun is ready.

and this “pad warrior” crusade that you’re on is because none of us have sticks to practice on. if someone buys me a stick, i’ll gladly bring it to every tourney, let anyone borrow it, and even use it cause i can reliably practice on it.
we all use pad cause thats all we have to practice on. i dont feel like spending $140 on a piece of hardware that doesn’t make the games anymore enjoyable for me. i used to have a ps2 pelican stick that i bought for $40 and i probably logged over 1000 hours playing guilty gear and marvel. i sold it because its 5 years old and its a pelican stick (kind of wished i wouldve bought a game with that money now)
whats with all the hate vegas? i would understand if i were a scrub that constantly hogged spots from other people playing casuals, but me and my “pad warrior” friends pay $5 that we know we’re just gonna give away to either daniel or josh just so we have the OPPORTUNITY to play the best people in vegas.
i’m not gonna enter sf4 anymore cause i hate the game terribly and it apparently brings too much drama. thats $5 you guys are never getting again and i can only imagine how much smaller the turnouts the GO tournaments are gonna be with all the assholes we have.

Well look at that. All the shit talk and drama caused another person to stop playing a game. Fuck people grow up. Who cares if someone uses pad or stick and who cares about which character they play. let people play the game and be at peace. If someone has helpful hints and wishes to share with someone that’s all good. But hating because either you lost to them or you just wanna be a dick about things isn’t cool.

Alright I won’t speak for BigGee because that guy can easily speak for himself. However, I think I remember that week 1 of the GO tournaments George said shit talking and disrespect will get your ass bounced out of that store fast.
If anyone wants to take that shit to GO, I’m just warning you here.
George allows trash talking, about the gameplay, as it goes with the territory, but once it gets personal he will end it.
