WTF are you talking about, I haven’t even played this game and I know half that stuff is BS. #1 Bison can Headstomp Vega out of everything he does in the air, #2 I’ve never seen a video of anyone land the Ultra after Focus attack EVER I believe it was discussed earlier that it always wiffs, #3 Vega’s super doesn’t combo into ANYTHING it’s the same super he’s had since ST and nothing you can do makes it combo. Unless you have videos backing up these claims I don’t believe a word you are saying.
Also don’t walk in here and say Blank is a bad match up and then say absolutely nothing to back up that claim.
And there are plenty of ways to land his Ultra. Specifically people trying to build meter. I would know because I’ve done it plenty of times, and not against scrubs.
this is valid, i’ve tried it myself. it’s not a combo (and bebop never said it was) but it’s definitely a cancel. the super itself works great if you do it to the wall behind the opponent, because there is seriously little they can do to stop it and it’ll end up hitting 9/10 times lol.
also if you have the execution to pull it off at will (which i don’t), his ultra is excellent for punishing fireballs and whiffs (tiger shots get raped by this especially). i’ve never tried doing it after a crumple so i don’t know anything about that.
I was looking at Vega’s frame data yesterday and discussing things with other people. They were saying how you can DP/throw vega out of the roll. So I did some testing. It seems his jab/strong roll are unsafe. You can mash focus or mash DP while blocking them and counter Vega in between the hits. Fierce one is safe and I believe the EX one will be safe(I didnt try).
Just something to keep in mind. Jab/strong rolls aren’t too safe.

First of all, the only version of the stomp that would be threatening in the air is the EX version, you fucking moron. And the EX version WILL get stuffed if you throw out your jumping attack any time after the peak of your jump. The only way that the EX would hit is if your opponent anticipated your jump and threw out the EX stomp right as you jumped; which would entail that you’re telegraphing and I never mentioned that, you dipshit. The fact that you don’t know how horrible Bison’s AA game is proves in itself how bad of a player you are.
I can do this consistently and I have people in SoCal who can vouch. Hell, I played Fuson909 yesterday and crumple stunned him from about halfway between the corner and clock on his side, then backdashed into ultra. It’s not impossible or even hard to do, it’s just that you suck.

Fierce and EX aren’t safe either. Nisepachi tried it on some random Jap ryu player and got DP’d fadc into ultra right before the last hit. There’s a really small window right before he hits with the claw, but it can definitely be reversal dp’d at any strength. Pretty scary.
Bebop do you have some sort of website or database on Nisepachi videos that we are not aware of? Because as far as I can tell, there are only two public videos on youtube.

On another note, I don’t know if this has been mentioned and I don’t watch vids but I’ve been using blocked df+hk into ex wall dive izuna drop gimmick. Seems like everyone wants to throw or break a throw or push buttons after blocking a df+hk so it works. If they scared of the ex wall dive, you just throw them. Gimmicks! *note I don’t quite remember if I was using blocked df+hk into ex wall dive, or if on wakeup I was doing whiff df+hk as they get up into ex wall dive thinking I will land in front of their face and throw them.
It’s the same type of deal with how you ultra with any charge character after a crumple stun. Hit the FA, then immediately tap forward or back and quickly go to the downback charge. The dash will come out later than the input, which gives you enough time to charge for the ultra. The tricky thing with Vega is knowing which way to dash and which corner to go to. For instance, if my opponents back is close to a corner when the FA hits, I’d back dash and ultra to the wall that MY back is to. BUT, if my back is close to a corner when the FA hits (depending on the character) I’d dash forward and then ultra to the corner that HIS back is to. Sorry if that’s confusing or anything. I think anywhere from midscreen and beyond you want to ultra from your corner after a crumple stun, but anything close to your corner you’d want to ultra from their side.
God, I wish you could cancel with an EX walldive, but unfortunately, you can’t. The rolls are only cancel-able into Vega’s super, but they unfortunately don’t hit on the way up. Although, it does provide ample block stun for you to fly past them to their corner and super. It’s good to super from the corner your opponents back is towards because they have to switch directions to even attempt a counter, i.e. charges and whatnot. Like, when I super, I usually do it after a knockdown or cancel from the roll. If their in the corner, and you cancel from the roll, they’re almost entirely fucked, unless they’re playing someone who has an invincible move (akuma, vega, abel, bison).

See this is exactly what I am talking about, you didn’t read my post. You completely missed the point I was trying to make. You should show some videos when you make such claims that are contradictory to the information all ready available. I’ve never claimed to know how to play Vega better then anyone else and told them how to play him. If you want you can go back and check it yourself. We had no problems with arrogant children putting everyone down until you showed up. So Bebop could you please get off your fucking high horse and show some video proof to these claims you make.
i use vega all tha time at ctf, im the tall skinny spanish kid with glasses that plays tekken with lee, everyone at ctf calls me gm, was beasting with vega for a while so hit me up if anything im always around
