How’s everyone dealing with turtling? Most people I’ve faced have been turtling, can’t really find a way to open them up properly. People get conditioned to forward mk quite fast so I stops being very reliable.
Get into bare hand mode and tick with s.mk into throw or command grab.
Do the properties of MK change in bare knuckle mode??

indeed! And if you want to expand the combo and use meter, you can go with ex FBA after cr. mp (and V-Trigger/ex ASE) but i simply can’t do this on the PS4 pad >_>

A counter hit state is simply applied to the dp’s recovery after it is blocked. It’s more common in anime games for things that put you in counter hit state. Like in Guilty Gear if you fill someone’s guard gauge, every attack they get hit by will land as counter hit even if they didn’t attack.

dunno if they removed it in latest build but it used to CH even on whiff

He’s currently the closest thing to Viper being in the game. But I’m still blindly holding out for an execution-savvy, cancel-happy character to eventually be added to the roster.
Until then, I’ll be having fun mastering Karin’s supposed EWGF-like (Dorya!) command dash ~ Fierce maneuver. I’m hoping people weren’t exaggerating about that.

AFAIK the rule is invincible non EX moves are crush counterable, regardless of block or not.
EX moves are not crush counterable, nor “DPs” without invincibility frames (maybe light shoryukens?)

I think stance switch combos have the best damage for punishes, right? I don’t know, but it seems so, specially if you use meter.
