And hp ASE not having any juggles after blows, i thought that’s the trade off for having to use a hard-to-utilize anti air… Now we just have a meh anti air with an abysmal reward unless you spend all your resources, great.
So s.HK is our only CC now or did he get another one instead of c.HP?
VT hitting crouchers is nice tho, but man this is ass. They’re really going out of their way to take out every that people enjoy ~__~

Regarding nerfs, well, yeah, it’s sad to see so much fun stuff gone, but let’s not get discouraged, I hope Capcom is doing all this changes with the health and fun of the game on their minds. They obviously want players to enjoy playing so we keep throwing money at the game. And, in fact, the buffs are really nice, specially the V-Trigger one. I’ll miss the fancy switch claw combos if they end up not making into the final build, however. They add so much style!
I could somewhat understand claw c.HP not being a Crush Counter anymore. A Crush Counter that left the opponent standing leads to HEAVY damage. I imagine other characters will lose the same. …Wait, both c.HP are no longer Crush Counters? I would have thought at least BH c.HP would stay. And BH c.HP is slower? Geez, that move barely had a use as it was worse at AA than claw c.HP, right? We lost AA HP ASE -> EX FBA, that sucks. I mean, for AA, I prefered the faster claw c.HP anyways, as for AA HP ASE, you kind of had to predict their jumping in. But honestly, V-Trigger hitting crouchers is a big buff. You no longer have to be scared of your hit confirms not working 'cuz they’re crouching.
The nerf to claw-less cr.HP… Ouch. I mean, without the Claw cr.HP wasn’t quite as good but now that it’s slower, man… But wait, can you still do cr.MK into cr.MP/cr.LP?

I was fucking around, and you can do cr.LKx2 into V-Trigger. That’s pretty good. Not sure if everyone was aware but I just thought I’d mention it.
Messed around using his Guard Cancel against Necalli’s cr.MK into LK Stomp. And if you Guard Cancel super early, you might be able to hit him with cr.LP with the claw on. And that was being right next to Necalli as he did the combo. However, doing Guard Cancel when Necalli does cr.MK into EX Stomp, yeah, you have a lot more options there. I think Necalli’s EX Stomp is safe otherwise.
Don’t really get why they’d nerf both of Claw’s AA’s like that.
BH s.LK > 2MP everyone already knew was most likely going to be taken out, 2HP did seem like a move that was too good to be true, as it was, even if I’ll miss the CCH, I think it’s fair. But 214HP no longer getting us a proper juggle state is a bit too much, no? At least give it a better startup, so that it’s more reliable as an AA on reaction, otherwise why risk go for it?
Both buffs are really good, and I’m curious to see what other CCH we got to replace c.HP.
What I don’t understand is nerfing his bare handed stance. What’s the point then? Might as well allow him to pick up his claw then, otherwise he’s just going to be fucking weak without it. If they are going to weaken his bare handed then just get rid of that stance all together.
it seems like they’re nerfing -everyone’s- antiairs, which is really just blowing my mind. is this a part of their accessibility thing, to help out new players by making it harder to punish them when they jump? this is honestly infuriating me.
