And yeah I know the changes aren’t final… but they haven’t added anything new in any build since the first one. They’ve only taken away. And even on small things like cLP being 2 frame links, it was just too much.
If that’s too much… then yeah I have no reason to think that they’ll give him any significant changes. Straight up realistically, I can see Vega’s final version being slightly nerfed from 2012. He’ll keep cHP, ultra, and super buffs, and end up with damage/stun nerfs elsewhere (likely with Ultra damage, ST, and cMP/cMK)
Lets not forget nerfed CH. Have to hit that at point blank or risk a big ass whooping for using one of his normal attacks. I feel like he’s one of the few characters who constantly risks getting a can of whoop ass opened on him for doing what he’s supposed to do, which is poke.

Besides, you see how fast they went and undid those buffs? I mean you guys are all welcome to put your 2 cents in but it’s at the point where I’m just copy/pasting what I’ve already sent them over the last 2 years. Hell they didn’t even consider fixing the glitches I listed on there.
Just finished all Vegas trials using only a controller, so happy despite the heavy loss streak I suffered from last night. Did anyone else who did this use an arcade stick or else? Many people told me it was impossible to complete them with a controller to which I’ve proved wrong. Just curious, though I was stuck on 23 for an hour.
There is nothing wrong with decent controllers. You can even plink on theme using trigger buttons and your thumb, or a thumb sliding technique. I only switched to a stick in the last year or so and have been going to tournaments on controllers for a long time, even did Bleeding Edge on controller.
The reason I switched to stick? So I’d feel more comfortable at arcades!
I use a 6 button Hori pad, but I’ve completed all Vega’s trials with damn near every pad out there.
For Vega, I prefer pad. Though most other characters (and fighting games except MK) I can see how pad holds me back. Iono how Krone can play Viper on pad. Gief is really the only character I can see being equal on pad to stick, though I think me and Vangief are the only 2 people I know that feel that way.
