Various Newb Questions that aren't in the FAQ

What Shiki was saying is that you can use her 6B overhead and then baroque that into a 2a and start a new combo, which is very hard to block, because it hits overhead and then low in a quick succession. a good combo there would be 6b,baroque,2a,2b,2c, sweep , turbo sweep.

Otherwise it’s pretty easy to figure out baroque combos with most characters if you just want to do ground chains. Just find a special that keeps them on the ground. You already know casshern’s 236A, Baroque, 2a. With some characters you don’t even use a special. Here’s a tekkaman combo:

5a,5b,2b, baroque, dash, 5a, 5b, 2b, 5c, 3c, jump, air combo

Baroque is the best thing in this game so far!!! But yeah to add on to what they are saying:

For a team like Casshern, Polymar. With Casshern on point, when you use 421A as a combo starter it can either be Baroqued at the end of the move and followed by ground chain on an air opponent, (2a, 5b,slight delay 2b, 5c, (2hits) 3c) or you can delay Polymar assist to catch them on the way down and do jump to double to super Jump combo.

^With the example I just posted above, using Baroque is the best option about 80% of the time because it will save Polymar for later on in the combo but when you have a large amount of Baroque you will want to spend it differently in my eyes.

Baroque made a move (421A) which already has hyper armor, and gave it the god hand of single sliver chip damage making it safe and a combo starter!!! Fuck Yesssssss Baroque.

This is just one example of the crazy stuff baroque does for this game. It goes deep really really deep!!! I just got my wii back like 4 days ago and am knocking all the dust off and man this game is going to be so hype online with all these great teams!!!

Ippatsuman, Tekkaman

Yatterman-1, Alex

Doronjo, Souki

There are ways to confirm Casshern’s unblockable even if the opponent pushblocked every hit of the fire. I do it all the time, but usually it only amounts to the opponent not hitting the ground after the wall bounce. Still, it’s a nice way to get in some extra damage.

Stupid question, but has anyone figured out what determines who’s music actually plays?

I think it randomly picks at the beginning of the stage, it seems to usually go for 2p though imo. After that, if you switch in a character, it will change the music unless another song just came on recently, then it’ll let that one keep going.

No prob., thanks for the recommendation
I think I’ll get the JP ver. if only because the genie won’t be in the US ver.
