Is there anyway that the VF software is capable of a rep bar interactive with the community?
I know Vanilla is open source, and from what I heard, somebody was trying to work on a little widget capable of emulating the vBulletin’s rep system, but I haven’t heard anything since.
do the Vanilla experts know of anything on this subject?
Since SRK is hosted on Vanilla’s own servers, we cannot add anything that isn’t added by Vanilla’s own admins.
I would be shocked if SRK ever got reputation back. It’s removal has nothing to do with what board we use.

Rep was taken out while we were still on vB. Either Wiz or inkblot cited a bunch of issues with it, mostly having to due with how it was abused.
Personally, I think the “stars” system that replaced rep before we moved to xenforo was the best since people who actually contributed were rewarded.
The contribution system only awarded those who wrote articles.
Except that back then, good posts worth reading were regularly bumped up as articles.
