I have Windows XP, and downloaded some updates recently. However, after doing this, Vanguard Princess no longer works. I’ve tried everything–changing the name of the .exe to English letters, changing the name of the folder it’s in to English letters, using compatibility modes, using AppLocale, using NTLEA, everything. It still refuses to work. Has anyone else here had that problem, or is it just me?

Yeah, Windows XP just did a security update so it might’ve tampered with your files. Maybe you could try doing a fresh reinstall for VP and use CCleaner to clean out the old files.
I noticed with my version it reset my keyboard setup, but other than that it still works fine.

Using the latest version R36 and like i said its during online play ONLY. And no my pc is not “old and crappy”. Its no high end monstrosity but its no 8 year old compaq either -_-’

Yeah, stuff like that happened to me when I tried playing Last Blade 2 on Kaillera with a friend that had bad connection a couple years back. Game just desyncs in the middle of a match and never recovers.
Just started playing this game the other day, it’s pretty cool. I like playing as Lilith, but haven’t figured out much of anything other than how to combo into 623C using Shieria assist. Game definitely exceeded my expectations though, I’ll continue messin around with it for a little while.
Can’t play online though, connection at home is complete ass v.v. Might play some in a few weeks when I’m back on god-mode internet at school.
Think of it this way: bandwidth is how many lanes a highway has, while latency is how much slower you have to go due to traffic or construction or whatever. You can fit many more cars on a two-hundred lane highway than on a two-lane one, but they can all end up just as slow if there’s a traffic jam ahead.
So I’m trying to play this game but when I get to the main menu the pad inputs down and it won’t let me input up. I have tried Xpadder but that didn’t seem to do anything. I’m running the game on NTLEA if that helps. Anyone know of a way to rectify this problem?
It’s called a “de-synch” and it can happen with shitty connections. Considering that he was all the way in Korea and that lunaport is still a work in progress, it’s not surprising.
but beyond that, it turned out the other guy was running 1.0. :lol:
I was playing vs a Yui CPU just for fun and it did a random super out of nowhere. I was practicing the new reflect button and managed to parry the whole thing. It was pretty funny. You could potentially recreate a Daigo vs Justin moment using that super.
