Kurumi 623A/B/C is air techable now, target combos do a little bit more damage, removal of j22 j88. That’s about all I can tell with changes to Kurumi.
And also, it seems that you cant use the E button to perform cancels. For example I can do 5B > 214BC with kurumi, but trying 5B > 214E does not work…that’s kinda lame… though this only affects like 3 characters who can actually cancel their normals into specials…
EDIT: ok…Kurumi’s 6a also got the nerf bat…it has more startup now so you can’t spam it like before. This takes away Kurumi’s core pressure game, it fucking sucks :mad:. Why did Kurumi even need to get nerf’d in the first place… too unnecessary imo :shake:

Gah…yeah now she really will suck. She can’t even do combos with 623A/B/C anymore. She literally has nothing left except fast recharge time and short ranged target combos.
How is she supposed to approach safely without her glorious j.22?
she can’t stay in anymore without 6a pressure, with the new startup, walk up 6a is just asking to get poked out by 2a. 6a not being able to chain into itself, its too hard to hit confirm a 6a into 5b without whiffing the combo on a crouch blocker. Kurumi is gonna lose to a masher.
I honestly believe that Sugeno wants us to all think that Kurumi sucks, and then later he’ll release a patch where she gets some kind of awesome new special move and rocks house.
I’m still waiting for that to happen to Papeko in Gleam of Force though.
She outright sucks, it’s just that she has stupid fast assist recharge time and her super recovers HP. I don’t think she was ever made to be “usable” though it hasn’t stopped people from trying it seems.
Sorry guys, Kurumi getting nerfed was my fault. I play mid/low tier characters in games and then an update comes out, or the sequel comes out and they get the unnecessary nerf bat. If i wasn’t play Kurumi, they wouldn’t have done it. =(
Tho on the bright side, my Kurumi combos were really gimped in the first place, so it’s not like I’m losing much personally, lol.

So, has anyone noticed that you can cancel Natalia’s 236A/B/C moves with 2? She goes right back to neutral at the end of the dash, and you can buffer her 360 move so it comes out near immediately.

is it just me or is the input reader really wack, like i cant do stuff like normals canceled into a special, and i gotta REALLY mash kaede’s qcf motions for the to make them combo
also is luna unfinished or something, her super is lolawesome but i cant find a way to get into her stance (since nothing cancels…) SAFELY and she seems to get hit out of everything. oh and does she not have a normal throw or something or am i failing somewhere? because once anything gets into melee range its ggpo
game is mad fun though, i was just going to play it for lulz and ended up spending a few hours
yeah i read that. i actually do know her command list although before editing in the word safely into my post it seemed like i dont know how to get into her stance
After playing a bunch of online matches Ayane feels REALLY good. Like it’s almost retarded how good she is.
edit: For people using Fraps to record, is there anything special for getting the audio to work with the game? It doesn’t seem to want to pick up the audio at all
