Eko is probably the best assist for Kurumi I agree. Not to mention you get extra healing by choosing her.

Excuse me, I have a question.
It may be because I run the game through NT Locale Emulator Advance 0.86 Beta, but I cannot select stages in the top menu (Option>Game).
When I clic on “Game”, nothing happens, and switching stages through the game.ini is quite troublesome. I have tried replacing my game.ini with rikimtatsu’s, who said that his had working stage select, but it didn’t change anything.
Anyone got an idea to solve this problem?

Oh, and the rest of the game works just fine, and I love it.
I use eko with Eri, so I didn’t want to use the same assist, so i used robot girl with Kurumi. I can do some interesting things, but getting hit and losing my assist is really annoying.
I also have the no game menu problem, but it doesn’t really bug me, you can change stages in the game.ini

Well i get enjoyment out of doing broke combos, so that’s what Eri is for. Kurumi is my “mash assists but suck at it” kinda fun character.
Either way ill actually be able to play it against a person today, so im hype.

i use j.88 with kurumi.
What can you combo out of a Kanae 3D with Kurumi? Can you use her one special off of it? Juggles?
You can’t do shit with Kanae if you’re using Kurumi, maybe set up into ghost after a combo but that’s highly situational, same thing with dog / pothole. I don’t think it works well with her at all.

Yes you can. You can do it off 2B as well. The timing is just a little strict is all.
Kurumi’s j.88 is good for stalling and escaping. Sure you have to deal with a mixup on wakeup, but if you can block the first hit, just do another j.88 again on wakeup, which gets you jumping over a lot of low stuff and makes you invulnerable almost imidiately. Also, since you won’t incur an assist penalty until you touch the ground, she can sometimes get away with doing faster assist moves while in the 88 state without incurring a penalty. Kurumi can stuff a lot of things up with her 6A at close quarters anyway. It might be able to get her out of pressure.
It’s still a good way to avoid damage while waiting for your loli guage to fill.
The deal about Kanae + Kurumi is that Kanae has lots of unblockables that go well with Kurumi’s pressure. Since Kurumi can attack quickly with many hits over a short period of time, you’ll find yourself doing a lot of consistant damage even against opponents who block well.
As well as this, Kurumi can do juggles off the dog and manhole. Both are not in any way situational since she can combo into both of them. Laying them out after any knockdown is pretty much guaranteed damage because due to the way the dog has such a huge grab range, there’s literally nothing most characters can do to escape if you time it correctly.

But yeah,if you cna’t do it on game>option,the only way you can do is the manual way.

Why this didn’t came out early?!
I updated the wiki with more Kurumi + Kanae combos. She gets a 40% life combo from anywhere on the stage using nothing but the dog and well-timed heel drops. What’s nice is that you can combo into i starting from a 6A or 5A if you’re fast.
I’m going to work on a little section that deals with resets too, since with kanae she’s got some very nice okizime tricks.
