…Ok going to try this out, but Ciela W/ shield combo is freaking fun and deadly. Not sure how well the dog grab assist would work though…and I like my 4 shot pressure more then a pan or ghost…
But hey if you can get Kanae to work for you go for it.
Anyway, you should totally give Kanae a try Lipucd. Ghost completely prevents jump ins and dog and manhole are unblockable. Both of them lead into stunner.
Yeah it’s still going to prevent jump ins though,nce they need to attack if they want to get rid of it, and pretty much makes it very hard to manuvre about the stage.
Also, sapping so much meter is devastating against some characters who rely on supers to do most of their biggest damage.
I’ve been messing around with Lilith. I noticed that in this game, it IS possible to grab an opponent while they’re landing from a jump. I also noticed that Lilith’s 5A sort of ‘combos’ into her 360 grab if done at close range. I have no way of testing, but can the opponent jump out of this? Are there any other ways to increase the chances of getting the Pot bu…Loli Buster off? I tend to throw out lots of ghosts with Kanae assist to discourage jumping.
Lol! Lilith has a full screen loop with Kanae assist.
You start off with 2D, then use stunner, 2D, stunner repeat until you run out of assist meter. You can usually get at least 2 reps because her bar fills quickly.
No really I do, they got all of the story snips in text making translating it a breeze now. ( before I had to deal with mean old Kanji that I was never taught in school…Now I can just get each of those thrown into a machine to tell me what it sands for and do the rest by hand! )
I know exactly what you mean. Trying to turn a blurred mass of pixels into “???” was somewhat difficult, particularly ? which I simply couldn’t figure out and eventually just googled for “??” “???” in vain hope of finding it mentioned somewhere. I was lucky. :party:
On a related note, I’ve given up translating the move names for now and have just put the kana/kanji up instead. If someone wants to take over and finish them (and possibly look over/fix the ones I’ve already done) please feel free to do so.
EDIT: Also, I’m going through and editing the Profiles to use slightly better English. If I change something to be blatantly wrong, please point it out to me.

Also: Saki’s story has me at a odd crossroad… it brings up ??? [Hitohira] ( the sword Saki uses ) and ?? [Kamitsurugi(?)] ( a different sword someone else uses )…everyone OK that I use the Romaji for these?..Because I’m not feeling like hunting down true meanings for these words…
It’s pretty standard to use a direct transliteration for proper nouns in most cases, swords included. So using Romaji should be fine. Maybe add in the meaning in parentheses after the name sometime if you ever feel like translating them.
Eko’s heart gives the opponent quite a bit of invulnerability at the start of the hit.
Supers in fighting games are usually custom states. The first hit generally puts the opponent into a custom state and all hits after that are set up like a predefined occurrance rather than the character being hit in real time. The last hit resets the opponent back and gives the player control of them.
So basiclly, Eko’s heart caused the first hit to whiff, which rendered Yui invulnerable to all the others except for the last one (since she has not been put into the custom state for that super.)
Caught a strange bug today. I had nearly no life left, my opponent about 15-20% and we traded hits.
I lost the remaining hp, but my opponent also fell to the ground, even though he still had plenty of life left, and the round ended with Double K.O.
