Vanguard Princess: Happy 5th anniversary!/eigoManga SUCKS - Now on Steam

I just tested all 4 assists. It definately gives health back for all 4. It gives more health with eko assist. If you don’t see it, look at the lifebar during the super startup, not when it’s actually hitting.

Yeah thanks. I did notice that eko seems to give more life back. It’s actually a pretty significant gain now that I look at it again.

Atleast Eri is younger than 16

Updated

As the guy who maintains a few Caster ports and just had to fix up the wiki about this…

This netplay thing is not a Caster, because it is not derived from the Caster codebase in any form. It is not associated with it.

Thank you.

Updated the HUD section. Can we have it changed to ‘System’ instead?

I added more combos with each assist to Kurumi’s page, including a bunch I found with Kanae and Juliet, and updated some more information on her gattai beam super including how much it heals.

Oddly enough, you can’t block it after the super pause, even if your character was in neutral position.

Done.

Just letting you know, there’s a wiki for this

Ok, I just got back from a friend’s house, and we had this game, Blaz Blue, and AH2, ALL in the same room. Guess which one we spent the most time playing? :V

I must say that for the first time playing vs matches, I still feel kinda confused about the overall pace of the game but I’m sort of gaining an understanding how to play albeit gradually. I take it that any gap in a pressure string is a great time to use an assist command. We played a lot of Saki vs Yui matches early on and there are times where I feel like I’m at a loss when it’s down to the wire and it boils down to a footsie war. Yui just has absurd range that can be converted into monstrous damage. :\ I’m not sure what else to say. Saki j.A is active for a very long time and stuffs a lot of moves. Her 3A seems to be a fairly good alternative anti-air since it’s air unblockable and launches on counter hit. Many times it came down to recognizing a counter hit and getting that extra damage in.

Tried Kaede for the first time simply because she had 2A… > rekkas (granted I could only get them to come out properly 20% of the time, maybe less) but had a lot of fun using her. Is it just me or is her air throw pretty gdlk? A lot of times I tried jumping in with j.C while holding back as an option select and BOOM! Air throw. Seems to have some absurd range and works really close to the ground. I even did TK air throw. I seriously pulled off some Guilty Gear air throw BS with it. I used Shiera assist most and it seems like her pressure game is pretty strong (or easy to set up) since she has a fast dash and 2A chains into itself and has decent reach. He was playing Lilith and Ayane and there were times where he said he couldn’t do anything to get out of my strings. lol I doubt it’s because I actually knew what I was doing.

Overall it was fun and frustrating (for obvious reasons) all at the same time. Couldn’t record matches because fraps was flickering every time we tried (though the output video looked fine). We’ll probably give it another shot soon.

EDIT: Saw the system page. I think the grasp meter highlights when the opponent is able to tech? At least that’s what it seems like to me. :expressionless:

I saw. But the entries seem to have a specific format that I didn’t want to mess up with my own personal format.
Unless you guys don’t really care about that…

It should be alright so long as you post the information in the right place. There’s a template for all the characters, so just post your descriptions in the appropriate place.

Don’t forget to talk about move properties and important stuff like that.

Clarified the meter bonus on reflecting attacks in the system section. Seems any attack after a successful reflect is counted as a counter hit, while being unsuccessful leads to you taking a counter hit.

Also put a combo in Eri’s section. It’s 100% stun, but only ~18% damage. Sadly, you can’t do it twice in a row. Still, you can get a free super for close to 50%, so that’s not bad.

Grasp seems to pop up every time the opponent is rising from being knocked down.

See, I’m not too good with listing move properties, which is why I avoided updating the Wiki in the first place. There are just too many variables for me to give an accurate description.

For instance, damage. Lilith’s 5B seems to do 16 pixels of damage (out of 230 pixels) to a standing Yui, but 21 pixels to a jumping Yui. And when Lilith breathes fire, if Yui is in the middle of the fire in the beginning, she takes 13 or 24 pixels of damage (depending on whether it’s one hit or two). But if she’s initially away from the fire and she walks into it, she takes 10 or 22 pixels of damage. Why?

Other factors, such as counter hit properties and such, are very hard for me to test.

It’s all very confusing to me, and I believe other people are more “qualified” to update the Wiki than me.

I think that’s throw invulnerability on wakeup and also throw break window when “Grasp” lights up.

Don’t worry about that, just put up what ever info you have, every bit helps. If it’s incorrect you can just fix it later or someone else can.

And I believe you deal more damage to opponents when they’re airborne and in the crouching state.

Kanae is quickly becoming my favourite assist while using Lilith or Kurumi. Considering both characters have fast assist recharge times, and the fact that Kanae is all about unblockable moves at mid-range, she makes it much easier for lilith to get in, and enables poke-poke Kurumi to set up some great resets.

Lilith can also do stunner from the dog assist which is pretty fun.

There, I updated Lilith’s Wiki entry, although not with much.
I changed the template around to make it neater and more presentable.

Natalia has a command throw. I was facing the CPU version of her and she grabbed me and slammed me on the ground a few times. It did a lot of damage. I haven’t seen this move on her command list so how is it done? Is it a 360 motion?

Yeah, it’s a 360. This is the first move on her command list…
