The red combo counter means it’s invalid, so that doens’t work
I thought you liked games with short combos. Make up your mind, lol.
But having assists to combo is pretty much the whole point of the game.
I’m not sure what you mean by this. You do know support counter is when you get hit while your OWN support is active right? Then you momentarily can’t use your support.
Additionally, you can’t use support while your’e in hitstun, so the combos are certainly possible, it’s jsut unlikely that you’d land random j.C’s or have enough meter at the time since you’d probably be using your supports alot just to get in and start doing stuff.
Actually now that I think about it Gasaraki’s right.

Yeah she’s kind of fun. She’s got high damage and mixups, but can’t combo for shit and she’s kind of slow. She needs to rely on her assist, and her loli guage fills slowly, so she’s gonna be a lot of turtling and command grabbing imo.
Don’t get carried away. This requires you’re in the corner hitting a combo from a kind of slow jump in with (by my estimation) 4 levels of loli guage saved up. A lot of this stuff, with the exception of maybe the eri redizzies, is really situational so far.

Found a couple of other Saki death combos. From what I can tell, if you position yourself correctly immediately after they get dizzied, then the window for struggling out is insanely tight. I’m trying to record all these but my PC is garbage and not cooperating with me 100%. Will upload after I get off work tomorrow. Need a new audio cable.

I can’t get this game to run to save my life. I’ve changed the language settings, that NTLEA exe program, I’ve run as admin, ect…and every single time, the game closes the second after it opens. RAAAAAAGGGGGGEEEEE
Try renaming the folders like someone did.

I can’t say this game has really grabbed me yet, but there are things about it that I like. Its over the top style makes it hilarious, which makes it pretty fun. I also like that it doesn’t have a magic series or dial comboes.
What I don’t care for is the lack of consistency. Stuff like blue haired Athena over there having three strengths of shield, two strengths of phoenix arrow, one strength of her beam move. Or stuff like short purple haired girl having one strength of any of her moves being a fake out, but which one the fake out is being different for every move. That sort of thing doesn’t really add much to the game, just makes something that should be simple to pick up more unintuitive for no good reason.
The matches I played with my friend weren’t very satisfying, but then again neither of us really knew what we were doing at that point. Now that I’ve spent some time in practice mode and found a character whose playstyle I like enough to use, I’m sure there can be a more controlled match.
Perhaps if it had netplay this would grow on me more.
When you say you changed the languages, you went into the third tab of the regional and language options and you changed the mode for non-unicode programs to japanese in that drop down list? If you have done it correctly your \ in fold names should be Yen symbols. Thats what I had to do to make sure it was working correctly.
Also what program are you guys using for keyboard to joystick stuff? Because I swear to god joy2key is dropping inputs so when I try to do combos I sometimes just get a jab or whatever instead of the motion I wanted.
Short haired blonde girl = Pilebunkers! ahah she’s pretty cool and seems ot have some okay damage combos with everyone’s favorite combo assist. And maybe some mixups with gun assist. I’ll try to record later after someone helps me find a better joystick to keyboard program.
I have Japanese language support for my system, so even when the region settings are set to United States, I see folders as Japanese. Either way, I’ve gone into control panel and changed to Japanese and it fails. (I’m using Vista32 by the way) I’ve also tried renaming the folders and files, but it still doesn’t work. I’m about to give up.
