EVO was just over but the hype isnt dying down! VSB4 is just around the corner with less than 3 weeks away!!

Why so soon you ask?! Arn’t you anxious to see how much our own Vancouver players have level up’ed at EVO?? I sure am!

This time, we’re going to bring in something new and different from previous VSB’s. Since we realized there is actually a decent ST crowd in Van, we are going to be running a single station Street Fight…er 2 Super Turbo side tournament, side by side with our usual Team Battles as side events!! (and with 3rd strike coming out on xbox, its very possilbe we will do that as well for future VSB’s)

LOCATION: E-spot Billiards and Arcade (Right across from Lansdown Skytrain Station, located behind Memory Express on #3 Road)

OFFICIAL TOURNAMENTS

MAIN TOURNAMENT - Singles:
Best 2 out of 3, double elimination
Standard payout to top 3.

SIDE TOURNAMENT - Teams (3 on 3)
Best 2 out of 3, double elimination
Standard payout to top 3 teams.

SIDE TOURNAMENT - ST:
Best 2 out of 3, single elimination (since it will all be ran on 1 setup)
Standard payout to top 3.

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: Standard payouts to Top 3 / Random Draw Prices

SCHEDULE:
12:30pm-4:30pm - Registration / Side Tournaments (Teams & ST)
4:30pm-9pm - Singles

FORMAT
Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition (XBOX 360)

VENUE FEE: $15/person ($10 if pre-registered with pre-reg #)

Usually tournaments around the Vancouver area are 5 asian guys in a room taking turns with Akuma. I stopped going to the spots around 4 years ago. But this tournament looks legit!

im white, and these tournies get around 60-100 people.

Its not about race I could care less about that. It just seemed to be the same guys coming out again and again and everyone uses Akuma. Thank god times have changed!

Yup the above picture is the correct building!
and I believe there should be less than 4 akumas there this time! (out of maybe 60-70ppl)

Just took care of all the pre-regs up to today! Sorry about the delay guys, been crazy busy this week setting up Espot weekly gathering and going to the Seattle tourny! :smiley:
