Didn’t Daigo and Sako meet in at least one tournament? I thought I remember seeing Ohnuki, Sako, Daigo, and a couple of other well known players in the same tournament before.
Though, it’s true that if you haven’t played in forever then you ain’t top dog anymore.
Sako was just the player who had inhuman execution.
Kosho is clearly better and he proved that. Kosho plays much smarter and does what he needs to get the job done.
Sako is definitely better than Daigo though, but Daigo stopped very early so who knows where he really would have placed nowadays.
Kaji and Oboro are the most respected though, and they deserve it. They prove that low tiers can compete for the top spot and be consistent contenders.
Personally, I think the best Felicia player ever was cat-k. He moved on to SF4 though, because he knows what’s up. VS is still a great game and I’ll definitely play it when I get to Japan.
I skipped Japan to go to EVO this year though. SF4 is my main focus and I wouldn’t be able to play in SBO, so I’m going to compete @ EVO .
Well before you decide to go to japan, We gotta get you primed and ready because they dont fuck around over there sir. Good luck at Evo this year as well( I still think you should have gone to japan though)
he couldn’t have won this years DCC, because it didn’t happen yet…but your point is very clear…I really need to find a way to get ggpo on my mac or get a pc fast…i need to play people at high levels because there aren’t too many good players around me anymore who will play with me, everyone on that sf4 shit…if I had people to play with i’d play this game all day…
Although VS is an awesome game and I love it to death, I wouldn’t expect Daigo to play at this year’s DCC. If I remember correctly, it’s after Tougeki and I wouldn’t want to do EVO, then Tougeki, then DCC right after each other. I’d have to donate my time to one game so that I’m sharp.
There is an interview with Daigo that contradicts this. I think ST might have been the first game he ever played, but in the interview, he states quite plainly that the Darkstalkers games were the first games he ever got really good at.
I feel like we need to get on some more, just ran into two new people who would be interested if there were more people in the room. Or we could just have Korey organize weeklies again.
Nah Jamie, that wasn’t aimed at you. I can admit when I’m wrong and this case I was. So, that flame wasn’t aimed at you, comrade.
Tbh, it’s getting to the point where even organizing weeklies is kinda pointless for me. We had 16 people show up for the last one and we thought it was packed. Also, it’s mostly the same people in the room that are playing, so why not just play them? :shy:
Somehow I am wondering why you don’t realize that there are 9898989898989898989898989898989898989898989898 people who are READY AND WILLING to ride Daigo’s dick as hard as possible…
Do people still play this on ggpo? It’s a damn sad day when I see more people in JOJO than this because their little posse dipset quite some time ago. Welp, looks like its back to one of the 6 kof rooms. :looney:
