Aya has helped me tremendously (one way or another) in getting better at VS, so you’re really better off taking his advice.
That’s like the only thing that playing the computer is good for in VS. Practice your combos, strings, and moves…but I would almost NEVER rely on the computer for actual match experience.
As for that, it’s just a matter of practice. Don’t walk into VS thinking you’re gonna dominate. No one did that, and everyone was bad at one point in time (some more poor than others). So just take each loss for what it is, learn from it. Ask questions, talk to people. Be ready to take some pretty harsh criticism. Watch match vids. Most importantly, have fun. If you’re not having fun, then forget learning this game. You’re not doing yourself any favors.
You can talk to me too about VS if you want. My MSN is on my profile and I’ll be happy to chat VS with you.
True this. Sako would rape daigo’s soul in VS…Kaji is beast too, he made me think lilith was better than morrigan. when i first saw Sako’s Buletta i almost cried from the sheer godliness
Ok guys, I’m talking VS-history now, not todays standings. Daigo became famous because of his skills in VS. He was the champion in Japan. I would say that in his prime, he was above everything. Surprised nobody here mentions Haitani either, I think he would kick both Sakos and Kajis butts.
Also Daigo was famous for ST and A3 before anyone in the fighting game world knew he plays VS. My question is, why are we talking about him when his time is up. He didn’t win SBO for VS. He didn’t win this year’s DCC. Hell I doubt he plays period.
History is fun sometimes but I seriously doubt that Daigo was the best VS player ever. Good? Yup. The best? errrr…no.
