Vampire Savior: advanced link combos & important notes

The setup hes talking about is one of the more common pendulum set ups

You do that chain into knockdown, immediately cancel with s.RH and then pendulum them on wakeup… Depending on when you cancel pendulum you can go to any of the 4 corners

Theres also all the crazy flying above the screen tricks i’d like to get better at, guess I just need to play around with it all more

Oh pendalum = the chain. I thought it was either tenraiha or the mallet drum thing. It makes more sense now.

So, what are the other shapes for Gallon’s EX BC combos besides the standard one? Sometimes I miss the next one or I accidentally put in the wrong direction and I lose the combo. I know there’s other ways to do it.

qcf PP, then:
corner: uf x 4

from far away (if you didn’t hit them with c.mk or any other hit confirm / setup): uf, uf, u, f

if you with j.MK , then j.EX beast cannon, do: f, uf, u, f

i had taken the time to put it all on the first few posts of mine. i think this’s what you’re requesting, correct?

exactly GB, thank you.

Japanese Article describing various Advance Guard “Tech Hit” methods.

Hopefully Nohoho or somebody else can provide a brief translation.

That looks rather self explanatory.

1st Set of pics: Piano from short to fierce (so short, jab, strong, fierce) then swipe across the kicks (short, forward, roundhouse)

2nd Set of Pics: looks like a double swipe with strong and fierce with your middle and ring finger and your index swipes across the kicks, so it in essence it’s (strong, fierce~short, forward, roundhouse) very quickly. This one looks kinda painful though, unless you have like Hulk hands or something

found these on nico
Kaji vs. Sako

Sako vs. Bishamon player(i can’t read J-nese)

there are more, just use the tags. these are from the DCC at a-cho…some of you guys may have seen these already, but i was glad to see these because these are fairly recent and i thought sako wasn’t playing anymore…

Edit: here’s a vid of keyboard master playing on the keyboard

Ouch.

I started playing on GGPO again. Perhaps you can criticize my Rikuo and give me some help? :wgrin:

kb ftw!

does he use 3P and 3K buttons? i can’t tell from the video

he doesn’t…pressing buttons at the same time doesn’t give you tech hit, you have to do 6 inputs. he’s drumming.

Sure, no problem. Right now I don’t have time to get on GGPO. Working hard and going to be getting SFIV, but if you could maybe upload some vids of you playing, we could take it from there.

I may not be the best Rikuo player, but I’m always willing to help someone who wants to learn

Also, KBMaster (AKA Oouchi) is just beastly enough to where he doesn’t need 3p/3k. He probably does the method that is described in the pics. Which I would assume is about equally as hard on KB as it is on stick.

I can’t imagine how pad players do it though >.>

i tech hit with just roundhouse most times

^Proof that Rushed mashes, lol.

Anakron, I can tell you some basic things you should know with Rikuo as well. Hit me up on AIM or MSN or w/e. We can talk Rikuo.

AG on pad will differ based on your setup (i.e, whether you use L1 and R1, or whether you use both right shoulder buttons). If you use the normal “right shoulder buttons” layout, Mag has a good one for that. If you use the old-school “L1 R1” style, I could teach someone how to do that one.

Does life still breathe through this game? I’ve always wanted to play this ;D

Yeah, it does have some life on GGPO. A lot of us are on during random times of the day (not me as much, seeing as SFIV> VS for right now). So if you want, just hit us up.

Super Oouchi Edit: I just saw the sickest Jedah shit ever. B-Izm’s latest Jedah vid. I think he did Dash HP over and over, but I have no clue. Does that only work on Bishamon? Or is it characters of Simillar Height (Rikuo for instance)

I think it works on everyone if they’re standing, but only on the taller chars when crouching.

Bishamon only infinite.

Oouchi vs lezard matches are always hilarious to watch.
