the whole point of wiki was to create a centralized location of info for VS. once the game develops here, strats will become obsolete. which is good. I would ideally like for people to start other characters. b/c I am hella old, and would like to retire.(which i plan on doing once there is a suitable submission for each character.)

uh… Ive been to japan several times before. TBH most US players(asside from one) are pretty crappy by comparision, I just dont talk much online about skill levels because i dont play this game on GGPO. Magman is the best american player IMO due to his consistancy and his constant growth as a player( i do not consider myself apart of that group because i dont play the game online anymore as stated). Of course people will probably disagree with me but i dont really care.

Mag, if you could help me round out my game with Rikuo, that would be fantastic. I’m really looking to just use him and not have to resort to picking Felicia as a counter character…just certain matchups are bugging the hell out of me (Jedah, Demitri, Q-Bee mostly)

My most annoying matchup with Rikuo is BB Hood. I forgot the link to the matchup list (don’t even know if its up to date or somewhere in this thread since I didn’t look) but that matchup is pretty fucking annoying. I don’t care about Demitri, QBee seems to have the same tricks on all my characters so that doesn’t matter either, Jedah doesn’t seem important enough to complain about for that matchup either. Zabel is kind of annoying on Rik too.
sorry but ‘xx vs yy match ups’ don’t even matter on the level this game is played on ggpo.

Shameless Avenue Q jokes aside…here’s my issue with Demitri. It is neigh impossible for me to ever ever ever get a solid amount of pressure put on him, since he can just DP out of anything I may try. Up close on his wakeup, anything he does seems to out class Rik, even c. jab! So if you could show me how you deal with him Xan, it’d be mucho appreciated.
Jedah is just annoying because whenever I play someone that’s not Myrm, I get the runaway treatment and I waste time and run into shit trying to chase them down.
Q-Bee is annoying for me since her IAD really messes Rik up if you get caught crouching. I did learn a little bit yesterday that standing jab can beat out certain attacks, but it’s no standing short with Felicia.
BBH…I never really play any BBH’s anymore so I wouldn’t know. Maybe I can get B-IzM to whoop on me with her so I can learn the matchup better. It seems that she almost locks Rikuo down completely with dash strings.
BTW, Rikuo wiki updated just a tad…so give that a look. Also, matchup charts? I haz dem.
