Vampire Savior: advanced link combos & important notes

Official Japanese Tier List. http://www.vampire-dcc.com/column_3.shtml

Also, if Donovan isn’t in Vampire Savior, but he is in hunter.

Dimitri is really good, dashing shoryuken, 360 and demon super, I think he can tick into midnight bliss as well.

Thanks. I’m thinking of DS3/Chronicles. No Donovan makes me very sad. I guess it’s Demetri and Talbain then.

You know some people perfer Vampire Hunter to Vampire Savior:lovin:. Besides, I do believe Donovan is in Chronicles for DC. He also MIGHT be in DS3. I think that game is more of a port of VS2 instead of VS.

I’ve only one match with a good Donovan.

so whats the deal with the psp ver?

i just got my mitz on it

I think it’s a perfect port of the chronicles, which was released on ps2.

The only problem is actually being able to play on the shitty ass d-pad.

Actually I think chronicles was released on the dreamcast instead of the ps2.

The American port of Vampire Savior - Darkstalkers 3 - shares the gameplay engines (as well as story mode transitions) of Vampire Savior, Vamipire Savior 2, and Vampire Hunter 2, respectively. Dark Force Change was intended for Savior 1’s gameplay, while Dark Force Power was intended for Savior 2’s.

The only thing in relation with Hunter 2 was the fact Donovan, Phobos, and Pyron were added to complement both gameplay styles, and Pyron, naturally, was the end boss if you set it to Hunter 2 settings in single player mode.

Vampire Chronicle (released on PSP and import Dreamcast with a limit of 5000 copies) shared the gameplay engines of not only the above mentioned games, but also Hunter 1 and Vampire. Meaning Demitri’s other Chaos Flare animation can be seen as well as Felicia’s Litterbox Kick, just to name a few old moves. However, the single player mode is the same lackluster result as Savior 2.

However, in Vampire: Darkstalkers Collection (released on import PS2), there is a hidden character named Dee (an evil version of Donovan originally intended for Hunter 2), who is basically a hybrid of Donovan’s specials and Demitri’s normals. A damn shame you couldn’t play the grown up Anita though. . .

Thanks for the games at ECC Sean, sorry I couldn’t stick around on Sunday.

And go to hell nohoho, I don’t have a clue what to do against Victor, I hate that son of a bitch.

:frowning:

victor sucks

shut your face assface

die in a fire

so is this the right thread or is there a different 1 I should go too?

and why does every1 like DS3 over DS3 pro?

This is the thread to talk about it, but DS3 “vampire savior” is preferred for reasons I’m not quite sure of, kinda like how ST is the most preferred, balance issues and lack of unique dark forces, supposedly unfinished, missing popular characters.

But vampire savior being the most preferred is not necessarily true, because a lot of people in Japan still play and prefer Vampire Hunter “ds2”.

Darkstalkers combination cup tournament features both games.

I like em both equally. I just wished that they brought those characters over to savior so all of the characters would be on arcade. All of them instead of on ps2.

Chibi - Are you coming to CTF next week? Maybe we can get a couple games of VS. I’d push for a tourney but it seems like getting a critical mass for ST is a already going to be a long shot…

where can I get some info the grooves? I been messing around w/BB and in DS1 groove her sonic booms(charge) turn in hadokens(qcf).

I don’t want to play the SF2 Turbo Bison ver. of my character when they a have CE Bison ver. which is 10times better.

hey nohoho. this is completely un-VS related, but you’ve been cited on the capcom usa blog. http://blogs.capcomusa.com/blogs/news.php … tho you proably knew that already. I’m proud

Pretty neat. I hope visitors like the ST vids.

Back to VS: there should be some Nagoya movies soon. Atta Leilei and Verti Gallon beat Oboro and Dara at the finals of the most recent tourney.

Also there are Mikado VS movies above and beyond what was posted on their site on Nico Video. Someone ripped files (with permission from staff) from the dvd. I’ve got info about nico on ze blog.

Hey Nohoho

Do you know the full results of what happened at DCC?
