Can someone give me an overview of Morrigan in this game. I understand she is low tier, so why is that? How is Morrigan played, what are her choice tactics ect…
Your whole game is based on hitting Darkness Illusion as much as possible. ;/
imo, DI is important, but morrigan’s hi/lo/throw mixup is the main gist of her play.
use valkyrie turn to get out of rushdown(w/ no drill),
buktooth has a cvs2 morrigan, that can be transposed to VS, though VS morrigan is significantly faster(tho average, relative to other VS characters)
theres a few morrigan things here and there in this thread. search should work in this case.
what she lacks mainly is priority, and [from my experience] faultless rushdown, though she can rushdown well(don’t misinterpret)
I see a lot of Lilith stuff, but not much Morrigan. I’d use Lilith if she had bigger bubz(yes I’m like that when choosing chars). The wiki puts Bishamon in lower mid tier, is that still accurate?
So I’ll watch some buktooth vids and see what his Morrigan does. Too bad nobody plays this game so I can’t tell if what I’m doing would be effective in a match or not.
The tier list is still accurate.

Thats the Japanese list with details on why the characters are there.
There is also a few people who play this game on the IRC channel #SRKvampire
Whats up ya’ll??
I just have a few questions,
What is the proper distance to get bish fireball to be unblockable??
What is the distance (or set up prefered) to do the Zabel j.sk unblockable??
Ive tried both for a good amount of time and just cant seem to do them. Thanks!
I think the zabel unblockable is due to crossup, maybe I’m wrong.
The bishamon unblockable is about the distince of hitting a dashing roundhouse. the
dashing roundhouse should put you in perfect distance for the ground fireball
unblockable and the ex super move unblockable. I have not tested this out on the arcade version but bishamon also has
an ex air fireball unblockable on the Darkstalkers collection disk that I discovered.
It involves being in about the same distance as the ground unblockable and doing
this weird command (b,db,d,u,df,f wont work if tiger kneed for some reason). this makes bishamon do his es fireball lower to
the ground causeing an unblockable that puts you in a stun long enough to hit a
jump in combo. This means that you can lose more then half your life off of one bar.:lovin:
P.S.- GB, I read that on the dipswitch changes faq when turned on that both dimitri and lilth
have fireball unblockables. Do you have any idea on how to do them?
P.S.S.- NEC will be the first real VS/VH tourney get together in the US lets makes this shit big
and lets make it hype tell your friends and teach them VS while your at it.:wgrin:
Yeah, I plan on going, hopefully I’ll be able to.
Hmm ok. Thanks for the help on the bish stuff.
Now as for the zabel, i dont think j.sk crosses. Ive tried it a few times with no success. Is the Vampire: Darkstalkers chronicles for ps2 arcade perfect VS?? If not, The dip switches that you are talking about, where are they??
Thanks
zabel’s ubk is frame dependent. its the last 1 or 2 frames of his short.(of 9 frames I believe)
and i’m becoming a scholar again… all knowledge, no practice -_-
Ima hit the sticks again.
We’ve had Vampire Savior tournaments in NC for months now, many of which have garnered more than 20 paying entrants.
Hope to see people at NEC play
Let’s help the VS scene grow! :wgrin:
Any vids, of those tournaments Shiki?
No, I’m afraid.
I guess we should record some these matches eventually, ja?
Yeah, you really should. =)
I wonder if I could get people in Vegas to play Vampire Savior. Heh, unlikely.
You could always jump on the IRC, if you have mame.
Thats what i was thinking in Colorado but, just for ease of use, ive picked up a few people already. A few people o play with consistently is better than no people :lovin:
The game is easy to pick up and play, but has depth to keep people playing. Good game!
Eat it, KOH.
Glad to see more people picking this up :lovin:
If this ever hits GGPO there’s going to be a renaissance.
Arizona has a VS scene
