I’m really not that suprised about Fel moving up, she has mad tools and a very straight forward solid game. BB H and Bish both require sort of gimmicky setups and super heavy execution to win consistently with. Fel is like Baby Wolf.
Are Sako and Kosho even really playing right now? I havent really seen any vids of strong active BB Hs lately which might have something to do with it to.
As for Lilith Morrigan, They have Lilith listed at 10 if you look at the far right bar and Demi/Mor at 11.
I honestly feel like Morrigan is a stronger character, but I think it might come down to a play thing like with BBH. Kaji is a pure straight monster, while theres no Morrigan of similar skill (except maybe Kaji himself!) so she doesnt get repped quite as hard. She seems to have a much more put together game to me though. Movement, Zoning, High/Low mixup that can both combo to DI. Good shit though.
I don’t know about sako, but Kosho has definitely been playing and beasting in recent tourneys. Ukio has been posting tourney vids and the last one he posted Kosho won.
I asked SaviorMeister (aka Oouchi) who all had input the new Tier list earlier today, and Chikyuu was one of the names he gave me, so I assume he still plays
I just looked at the tiers. Wtf? BB Hood definitely isn’t that low. What happened?
Bishamon that low is a little confusing as well. But I can at least begin to see why they did that. He does have a lot of bad match ups, but he can always still make up for them with his rush down. Shrug, I think he’s better than what he’s listed.
Demitri dropping doesn’t surprise me at all. His 50/50 is really good, but also a pretty big risk for him. It would be interesting to see how a modern Demitri plays.
Yeah, Morrigan and Lilith should be switched if anything. I would put Lilith over Demitri, as well. Her illusion does crazy damage, and they got Kaji playing her. 'Nuff said.
Jedah used to be below Victor before I stopped playing. What happened with that? Do Jedah players not get roughed up by Victor anymore? They do have the same weakness pretty much, except Jedah is faster.
Aight so, this is all thanks to Felineki and MZK (and a chat with LegendaryBlueShirt). Sorry for being late posting this up but I passed out earlier.
Felineki had been looking for the memory addresses for the hitboxes and fround the following: Vampire Savior…enhanced?
Then MZK was kind enough to hack up Lua script support into an emulator and give us a script to run so we could see the hitboxes:
What you need to do is download one of the RR emulators, and then add the hitbox script to a .lua file and run the .lua file in the emulator. I had an easy time with FBA-RR though it ran really slow, there’s an option to run Lua scripts right in the menu so it was easy to load it up and take a look.
Whats this? An Austinite That plays vampire savior besides me? Maybe my trips down to UFO won’t be me just playing on that multi cab by myself after all.
The issue would seem to be that by default the CPS2 (or at least its emulation) has its graphic display lagging behind its internal values by a few frames. Since the script’s reading the internal values, it’s always a few frames ahead of the graphics. Getting it to synchronize perfectly would probably involve adding buffers to store previous values or something to the script.
