Morrigan can sweep a blocked drill or even one that hits. There ya go. But you have to hit him before he hits the ground.
They were so mashing, hahahaha. Anyways, the distance that a blocked DP from Demitri puts you too far to punish, even with AG. Just block it and reset the positioning.
Now I get it. Its sorta like Son-Son DP in MvC2 in that she recovers as soon as she hits the ground, as opposed to say, Ryu DP that still has recovery frames after he lands.
I thought he had some recovery frames after he landed; that was my mistake.
Alright, I finished shifting through the 50+ matches on my C drive; I’m uploading the rest I thought were okay, mostly some of my Pyron. I’ll link when I’m done.
Yeah, VSav Demon Cradle has only 1F of ground recovery on all versions (vertical and diagonal). So while it’s technically possible to ground combo him, the timing is much too strict.
Bah. That somewhat destroys my positive outlook. :wonder:
On another note, Xenozip what’s your opinion on the matches and more importantly the VC interface (being able to choose characters in a style from each vamp game; Being able to set up the matches from each system, having all the characters selectable, etc.)?
Well I was asking as a few others seemed a bit negative towards it because it wasn’t “just Vampire Savior”.
In anycase, you can pick from three gameplay formats before the character select screen; Vampire, Hunter and Savior. Vampire to me is the strangest but still fun as long as you’re not stuck on playing Savior ruleset all the time - There’s no pushblock, separate rounds, and you only get one meter which slowly drains should you not use it. It kinda makes doing things more exciting in some cases because you have to decide what to use your meter for and NOW. Also Health does not regenerate in this mode. Damage is permanent.
Hunter is well, Hunter - you have the seperate rounds, still no pushblock but now you have up to 99 meter stock. I can’t recall if health regenerated in this or not.
Savior is Savior. Nothing is changed from VS as far as that interface goes.
My thing is, I love Savior’s system but why stick with solely that if you don’t have to? Needlessly limiting IMO.
So yeah, its really interesting and I love how you can do so much stuff with it on top of the depth already inherent in VS. Although if it were ever used for tourney play people would most likely stick with Hunter and Savior formats.
I dunno, probably people looked at it like HSFA3 or HSF2. I’ve never played it, know nothing about it, and don’t intend to ever play it, so I have no opinion.
I’m not knocking it or anything. If you want to play it then more power to you.
Are you sure? I’m pretty certain I’ve seen people chaining and then ending with the basket. I know you can do things like cr.lp, cr.lk, cr.mp, link cr.mp xx Basket. But I think I’ve seen people do* cr.lp, cr. lk, cr.mp, link Basket*.
The second one would be c.LP c.LK c.LK, link c.MP xx Basket.
But c.MP link Basket I’m pretty sure is impossible. It’s got to be a cancel for it to combo since c.MP is only +7F while basket startup is 16F (and missile startup is 10F btw).
