Was wondering if anybody with BB Hood knowledge could give me a short rundown on BB Hood vs Anakaris matchup.
MightyMar beasted my face off for a bit just now. The pyramid mixup got me just about every time.
Against Anakaris? I feel as if the simple answer would be to rush him down, since he doesn’t have a tech hit.
what do you usually do when you get Anakaris down to the ground?
(please don’t let Mar see that I’m asking this. ha ha ha)
Pursuit attacks against Anak are risky sometimes because he has an anti-pursuit attack he can do. But as long as you keep him from jumping on wakeup, you can rush him down pretty easily. Bulleta has a hard time from keeping him from jumping though, unless you peg him with a meaty dash> strong (not the overhead, the basket). When you knock him down with Bulleta, do an airchain to keep him on the block even if he chicken guards. Don’t jump as freely as you would in other matches, since Anak likes to spread the curse. Missles are almost irrelevant unless you combo into them, because Anak spends most of the match either in the air or doing pyrmaid drops. You might catch him with her gun super, but that’s risky to do unless he’s at fullscreen.
And that’s pretty much all I know about the matchup.

All you have to do is just do down LP two times then Dash MP over and over until he dies or time runs out.
If mummy is outside of his sweep range feel free to do random Gun EX.

The times I did win I generally won sub 10 seconds on the timer or time out. I guess its going to be boring until I pick up the pace with my Bulleta. Thanks for the input from everyone.
I finally got to play Korey again… and some newer names popping up in the lobby. Do any of them play BB Hood that can teach me? :wonder: I really want to be a respectable Savior player.
Do everything that B use to do with BB Hood, and you’ll be fine.
