Anyone know why this is? I know tournaments use the old/buggy version of 3s because Urien’s unblockable is considered to make the game more interesting… is it the same deal with VH?
Getting back into this game after about 13 years haha. Anybody know of a way to play this online on a mac without Crossover or Boot Camp? GGPO is PC only I think. I’m getting tired of playing arcade mode over and over again, and I’d really like to be able to play actual people for a change. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any tips for playing as Phobos? I can’t seem to get the hang of playing as him @_@ Dimitri strats/tips would also be appreciated.
Demetri is basically a shoto clone. DP, fireballs for zoning, and even an unblockable super. Not really too much to say.
Phobos is a zoning keep away character. He has a ton of projectiles and long range normals to help with this. However he also has good rushdown abilities with his hover ability so he’s quite versatile.

Supercade didn’t work for me. I needed to download some plugin for my browser, but the plugin was an exe file. Thanks for the suggestion, though! I might just cave in and partition my drive or something.

Yeah, no need to get a Jap saturn; the AR cart makes all imports work just fine.
Pyron is good because his fireball basically annoys the hell out of everyone and his ability to move around the screen is very good. Its difficult to jump in on him because the mp and hp fireballs arc upwards (the lp version goes straight) putting the opponent back where they were regardless if they block or not. His st.mp and Hp also are excellent AA normals, its like they created just to do so. He has also has a pretty nasty tick throw game (either into regular or his command grab) just be simply using his f+mp ~ f+HP chain combo, fakes out with dp move and canceling the j.d+mp (you can also cancel into a fireball or qcb+K) from this. This got toned down a lot in Vampire Hunter 2/VS (console)/VC etc but I won’t go into that.
Another thing is his teleports. Its really hard to corner him because he can just escape; and he also can attack out of them (slight recovery and start up though). Things like Aubath’s bubble traps don’t work, Sas can’t corner you, you can’t get around other fireballers, etc. So basically you annoy the fuck out of people.
His normals are decent, just remember that f+HP, cr.HK and mp/hp (on whiff at least) are unsafe.

Any tips for a Morrigan player who desperately needs to improve his game?
This video game thread will be bumped. I like Pyron! This game is dead, that’s sad.
Not exactly a plugin, but a .NET application that pretty much runs Supercade itself. It downloads the files (the “custom” version of FBA used) and apparently runs the whole netcode part of the thing.
You pretty much need IE (Microsoft, of course) or Firefox (has a plugin or something) for it.
Anyone still play this? I want to get into this since it plays more like SF than Savior but everyone seems to be playing Savior instead.
Me, Jedah, Rhythmic still play this…only people I know of…
I try to play it every now & then but it’s once in a blue moon when people are actually in the room & actually playing it & not using the savestate glitch.
Is there an English Vampire Hunter wiki like the VS one?
Can’t say I’ve seen one. The closest one I can think of is the one on the Shoryken wiki, but it’s not very in depth.
