This seems like a good place to ask;
In another discussion somebody said that there were a ton of differences between VS arcade and the VS setting in the Dreamcast ‘chronicles’.
I totally gotta admit, I cna’t think of anything but the NW characters being available, but I also haven’t played the latter since my dreamcast melted down.
Can any of y’all help me with a listing of the differences?

there is a readme file on there to help you out
and if you can’t figure it out, you can jump in the vampire savior room on GGPO and ask some of the people there. Quite a few players already have it and they can guide you through the setup process.
the jist of it basically is that you want the automacro program up along side the FBA emulator ggpo uses and when its set up properly, automacro will take control of the 2p slot and do the programmed exercises allowing 1p to practice.
TKO released a new Vampire Savior combo video on this year’s DCC DVD, and now he’s uploaded it to Nicovideo.
That was a pretty awesome combo video using the hitbox display Felineki. Just having hitboxes makes the video so much better for me.

One of the big things is that the property of certain animation frames to continue animating during hitpause/hitstop/impact freeze/whatever you want to call it was removed. This changes the recovery time of lots of moves and makes many combos from the original arcade version either more difficult or impossible to perform. Some move properties have also been changed, such as Morrigan’s crouching medium kick becoming a mid when in the arcade version it was a low.

Do most people play this on GGPO?
I meet some people playing this game at ECT last year and have finally got around to ordering the game and playing it. Its lots of fun and I just want to play other people so I can actually learn.
Most people will play this on GGPO if they log on instead of worrying.

Not trying to be snarky at all. People are on every day and numbers are usually 7+ with 18+ in late afternoons. People just need to log on without worrying and the scene grows on it’s own.
