btw, i’d like to say the following while i’m thinking about it…not that i’m aiming it at you…
i’ve seen people come on here and say shit like…“i put my info. on the player registry, hit up my cell when you have games”…and then said player never comes around b/c they’re new and nobody knows them and doesn’t feel like calling 100 random people whenever casuals are hosted. i really hope that these people aren’t getting pissed about not getting invited to shit, b/c they need to learn to put forth more effort if they want to get those random calls. that’s not what that list is for, and i’m pretty sure it’s never been used to notify a totally random person of a random gathering.
i’d like to share the following etiquette for the lurkers around here:

don’t assume you suck worse than anyone who posts around here, and therefore shouldn’t bother contributing to the scene…no matter who you are, you can always beat J3W
if you’re looking to go out and game on a particular night…check this thread…wanna know about tournaments?..check this thread and/or check page one, post one of this thread at least once a week
practice at home if you can if you’re getting advice from people…nobody likes feeling like they’re wasting their time
come to gatherings…be sociable…believe it or not, we’re all pretty good and helpful people who want to get you good. the better you get, the better we get. we have plenty of people who will go out of their way to help you show up to a gathering here and there even if you don’t drive…just remember what they did for you whey they choose to do it.
while a tournament or MM (money match) is in session…shit talk happens…people are gonna get salty, loud, random, dumb…it happens, don’t take it personally.
remember that this is competitive gaming…so, if you think Darksydephil is the voice of reason, you can gtfo. the Excuse Train doesn’t run through SoVA, and there are no tampon dispensers at our venues.
anyway, i will probably be at the GnT event tomorrow. see everyone then.

Well. We went to RVA. Ryry won the most epic Tekken tournament ever. We left Foomy in Richmond so he’s probably been assaulted by some muggers on Broad St by now. Was a pretty good time other than the venue was 15 degrees hotter than the outside.
Thank you to all those who came to the last Pembroke Mall GS tourney.Congrats to Nick for both winning without a single loss, and also winning with Guile, haha.
There were too many corrections and shifts to count on my bracket, so along with the place everyone got, I’m just going to include their record as well (from what I can decipher)

Don’t get too happy. That was one win for u. To me, it was Tuesday. Sorry Fuerte scares ya. He’s easier to control but dishes less damage. Eh, I’ll take the tradeoff. Dont miss the tourney, it starts at 3.
Yo Jamie thanks for the offer, but after reasoning with myself I more or less decided that I can’t make it out tomorrow even as much as I want to. I simply have way too many reasons to believe that my car can’t drive for 2 straight hours without falling apart, and I for real can’t afford for that to happen. At this point there’s like a 2% chance I’ll lose my mind and try to make it out there anyway, but I’m most likely gonna have to take a rain check sadly.
