GOOD NEWS!

Just got back from my Gamestop. I’m perfectly allowed to run one, so it’s an affirmative “go”. (It’s the Gamestop in the Pembroke Mall)

It will be happening Saturday, March 27 (And every 2 weeks after that until Super, then a SSF4 tourney the Saturday after the release.)

Setup/Registration at 1:30, with the tourney starting at 3:00, 3:01 at the latest (Screw late entries, not my problem.)

If not a lot people show up, it’ll be double elim., but if it actually gets a good turnout, it’ll become single elim.

Each bout is 2/3 rounds, 2/3 matches, 99 seconds, no banned anything.

The winner payout will be 70/20/10, but the entry fee is 0$ (Just incase you can’t get the joke, there’s no definitive prize. Sorry.)

We should have controllers for available use, but just controllers. Bring your own fightstick.

AND THE MEH NEWS…(Besides no prize, of course…)

While we should have 4 TV setups, we still need 4 systems with save files of all characters unlocked. If you’re coming, and you’d like to offer your system, please call our Gamestop (497-7311) and let them know in advance, or leave something on the signup sheet (Which will be posted in the store when we open tomorrow at 10:00AM tomorrow) letting us know. We don’t care whether they’re 360/PS3.

This is the first time I’m running a tourney with some actual prep time, so I apologize for any ‘‘rockiness’’.

Hope this turns out great, and hope to see some of y’all there!

P.S. I’m of course a GS employee, so I’m not sure if I can enter (But I will f I can.)

Just a heads up, I’m just gonna add almost anyone who posts in this thread as a friend or whatever so I can track y’all a little better.

On another note, is there anyone in the pembroke area that would be cool with giving me rides to the events that go on around here?

Having no car is a pain in the ass for tourneys that run past bus schedule times…
