REMINDER OF THE GAMESTOP TOURNAMENT MONDAY (TOMORROW) NIGHT
-there’s no entry fee or venue fee or anything like that.
-Super will be up and running at 6PM.
-the tournament (as of now) is scheduled to start at 9:00~9:30PM. This could possibly change.
-things will be wrapping up around 12:30am.
-they have three TVs set up right now in the store, and they want three more. We’ll have a table pulled out to put TVs & consoles on. I’ll be bringing my own TV. If we can get two more people to bring TVs then we’ll have six stations total. I’m guessing if we bring consoles then they will provide a copy of the game for the set-up??? Regardless, I’ll bring my PS3.
-the tournament will be seeded according to how many points players have accumulated in the past Sunday tournaments. If you have not participated in any of the Sunday tournaments, you can still play. Everybody is welcome.
-winner gets a copy of Super.
-if you still haven’t done so: reserve Super at Mt. Pleasant Gamestop if you plan to buy it that night anyway. They like reserves. They almost like reserves as much as you actually buying the game.
But overall, show up just to hang out and play. I know many of you have found/bought copies of the game already, so just come to have a good time. If you haven’t played Super or can’t afford a copy, show up anyway and play some games.
Even if you’re not getting the game, come hang out and play. Just be polite and aware of other customers. For you competitive people: Money matches are allowed, but PLEASE…SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT THEM. Don’t flaunt the money around so the camera can see it, and don’t scream “money match” like a gawdamn fruitcake. Let your hype be discrete as possible.
