On Saturday October the 6th, the University of Washington Starcraft Club will hold this year’s opening LAN event once again with the assistance of Shoryuken UW to present a gaming party for both the hardcore gamers, and the casual gamers alike!
This year in the Information School computer labs on the 4th floor of Mary Gates Hall, Starcraft and Fighting Games will be side by side. The computer lab, MGH430, will provide more than 40 systems available for those who attend the event to play Starcraft on. The v
iewing room next door, MGH420, will be filled with consoles to play fighting game titles such as Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition 2012, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Persona 4 Arena, and more.
STARCRAFT begins at 12:00pm in MGH430
-There will be keyboards and mice there, but it is recommended to bring your own peripherals!
FIGHTING GAMES begins at 4:00pm in MGH420
-If you can bring your own fight sticks or game pads, there will be a very limited amount provided at the event!

STARCRAFT II
-1v1 tournament bo1 double elimination bracket with bo3 Grand Finals starting at about 2:00 pm!
-2v2 random teammate tournament bo1 single elimination with bo3 finals starting at about 7:00 pm!
FIGHTING GAMES
-Based on interest, $1 tournaments for UMvC3, SSF4AE2012, P4U
-Mystery Game tournament starting at 6:00 pm!
MICROSOFT
- Raffles for two prizes will be held. The first one is a pair of Beats by Dr.Dre Studio Headphones, and the second is a copy of Windows 7! Get your ticket to the event to have a chance to win these prizes!
