LoL at the POWER ANIME CONSOLE TOURNAMENT vids… he lays waste through everyone except some scrubby Balrog he loses too. I find it stange that he doesn’t use any of the japanese akuma combos or any of the edma ken/akuma block string combos. He just goes for nothing but demon flip tick loops/combos… pretty effective though…also… he never crosses up… maybe he knows it’s to risky or something. I’ve never seen a SF4 akuma so hell bent on the demon flip. I’ll have to try some o dat shit.
I think it’s funny how he tries to emulate dash kara demons from 3S by hidding the 2 jabs in a dash and bam DEMON. It’s much harder to do on 3S than in SF4, it looks so funny to me that he still uses it.

Nice Sakura vids. I have been utilizing her reset more, but I didn’t know j.HP could be used for it too. Blanka so far is the only one that you can’t hit confirm on because if you do anymore hits outside of a c.HP before EX spinkick he can block it. Blanka can also duck and block Chun’s EX legs if she hits with c.LK…I hate blanka…
Wow G1 blows, brings out the real value of the game and just makes you hate it. Every other fight is either Sagat or Ryu. You’d think stuff like that would make people notice how balanced it really is. Really is killing the game for me playing overpowered motherfuckers all day. I’d love to think think it’s the player not the character. But frankly the fact that more than 75% of the people I play in G1 are Ryu or Sagat pretty much proves otherwise.
Jinbinim is a Balrog. There’s also an Akuma in there. If you watch the replays, you’ll see some other stuff.
But yeah, Ryu and Sagat are where it’s at. If you want to win consistently and safely in tournaments, those three and Balrog are really your only choices.
And yeah, Dhalsim, but you have to have skills beyond anything else. He’s the only character in the game who can dodge or counter every single attack, but one’s reflexes and execution have to be top-notch.
It’s kinda making me ornery too. My official thing has been that the game is serious and stressful when I’m playing a character I feel I “know”, but that I’m having fun or relaxing when I’m dinking around (such as using Fei Long or Dhalsim. These 4,000 GP guys must wonder how I got this high.)
Yeah I fought like a 25000 akuma. A couple balrogs, and there have been a couple other oddballs but other than that its just ryu and sagat. Haven’t won a single tournament yet with gen gouken or bison. You’d think I’d be pretty good with how often I play but I always lose to a sagat or ryu. What a joke. It’s so irritating.
PS: How the hell some of the people have over 25000 points seems like they must be cheating somehow. Because it takes quite a while to find matches in G1 sometimes. Especially when you move up in the tournament. I must of sat trying to get a match for at least 30 minutes the one time I went to the semi-finals.
