You need to buy a mixer so you’ll plug the game audio into the mixer as well as the microphone and then take the output of the mixer and plug that into the computer.

I still feel the funnest ranbat sofar was ranbat 1.3 at my house b/c it was so Spectator friendly. With the way the tables are setup at the new place, it makes it tough to watch matches. But that will be solved.

Yeah, it’s gotta be spectator friendly to get more hype on matches. People love watching Gen, even when I suck with him. Did super to ultra on andrew and a few people saw it and got all hype even though I was losing bad.
That was the only thing I think was a setback at the last ranbat was how it was awkward to watch matches. Other than that it was perfect.
I can help record matches, just show me how to work it and i handle it while Matty is playing.

I just noticed that i SUCK with the stick… i cant even beat really bad people… my reaction time with it is fuckin horrible and i fuck up my commands more often than not… if i see that i havent improved with it in a week or so, i might go back to pad

just played j.r. rodriguez (guy who placed top 8 in evo last year in 3s) a first to 5 matches, and he is fuckin ridiculous, he says he’s gonna upload those matches in his youtube channel for everyone to see how i got massacred :wasted:
jk, the games weren’t THAT slopsided, i did take a couple games from him (even got a perfect…) but his akuma is fuckin solid, look for him to shake things up in evo

As for recording audio… I have all kinds of recording equipment that we can integrate with the Hauppage. I have a little Behringer mixer that I will gladly DONATE for the cause. I’ll give it to Matty or Andy next time I see 'em. Or, if we want to record some super-good-quality audio, I have a Roland digital 16-track audio recorder that I do all of my music with. It’s a rather bulky setup, and it’s definitely not something I would leave anywhere, so I’d say we see how well the Behringer works for now. I have industry-standard mics, too… But I’ll consider buying a cheapie to leave with the mixer.
Regarding casuals… I’m ready to play some games! I assume that Wallace is hosting some games tomorrow night in Ogden, but I haven’t talked to him yet. If anyone else is doing anything between now and next ranbat, please hit me up! I’d like to host some games either this weekend or early next week if anyone is down. Let me know.
Regarding EVO… Well, I finally have things rolling and my money is looking much better (which is why I have been in Texas all month). So I am finally in a position to actually be EXCITED about EVO. I will probably end up driving, but just in case… Who has an extra seat in their ride? What hotel is everyone staying at?

I used to analyze JR Rodriguez’s Akuma in 3S, I’ve probably seen every 3S vid he’s had up on youtube. He beasts, which is how I like to play even though I get my ass punished hard most of the time. I’d like to see how he uses Akuma in SF4.
