Imo, if it keeps going like this for a while it could make people’s interest stagnate a little. Maybe I’m jumping the gun.
I think that after EVO it’d be nice if we had a super casual event with no tournament but a bunch of “winner stays” stations, arcade format. Then we’d get to play people. The last time I played Brian was a long time ago. Andrew I haven’t even played in casuals in at least 6 weeks. Andy never even plays. It’d be nice to get a lot of practice and play in non-online format. Casuals are nice, but don’t always cut it.
We have time to figure it out, but I think it’d be a nice post-EVO event.
I completely agree with you Mike. And I think your idea is a pretty good one. Do you think if we did that “winner stays on” type of format, that we should set some kind of win limit? Kinda like if you get 10 or 20 wins in a row then you pass. The purpose being so that we get better rotation of players.
The ranbat was awesome, it was my first time and not my last on a stick and at a tourny haha.

Ive done “winner stays on” and “loser stays on” matches with my friends either way its fun.
Could ave 2-4 setups, with some being winner stays and some not, so we could have both.
Even have a game; join the 10-in-a-row club, get a ______.
Oh, and we could have the 3-on-3 events! No money involved, just for fun. Have a draft with the top 5 people doing picks. Post-EVO, more fun less stress or something for a sec. Make the teams there and then do a 4 team or 8 team exhibition thing at the end, single or double elim. What do you guys think?

Sorry I didn’t show guys. I’ll always TXT before I go so I hope nothing was setup prior. Had family come over from Idaho this weekend so I couldn’t go. Hopefully can make it next run.
How was the new location 10/10? I saw the website, looks like a chill place. Might even LAN sometime if they’re serious over there.
I want to contribute for the next LAN, I can bring my system, got all the customs and characters. I’d bring my 50" Plasma, but it’s a Plasma = Heavy as Shit. Has to be transported upright, etc. 
Wasn’t talking about top placement, just a few people I thought were gonna do better I went around talking too were apparently already knocked out quicker than expected.
I like the casual idea though. It only makes sense that to play better we need to be able to play each other more. I can’t get better at fighting Ryu’s or Sagats for instance when 90% of the one’s online are terrible. Same with any character really.
Are there any casuals that go around in the SLC area on Thursdays?

Sorry again, we started late and ended late. I take total blame. I told Johnny/Bobby the wrong starting time. Considering they brought alot of the equipment and extra ones, we had to wait on them. My fault for telling them the wrong starting time HOWEVER. The tourney began at 8 pm, with the Ladies tourney first. Last match ended at 11:30 pm. I AM HELLAH confident I can get this shit done in 3 hrs no problem, with a 30 minute cleanup afterwards.

Set ups: I feel the setups were pretty sweet however I heard alot of whining about NO PROJECTORS. My bad, I was ill prepared b/c I didn’t have the right equipment. However I have the solution at hand:

Competition: Last week Matty and I found ourselves 5/6 th place, this week; you didn’t even hear from us. Last week Dana and John were one and done, this week top 6. This really tells me that the level of competition is hellah fierce. Outside the sagat, gief, and guile, we got guys who can give and take losses at any time. Makes this shit fun as hell.

He’s top 5 easy amongst us even if he does use a gay ass pad. HOWEVER, STOP FUCKING CHOKING. We hype you up and all you do is get dominated. Dont ever use Seth again, especially against John B. Dude is too legit to lose to your 1 week old Seth. Once you get your nerves down, I’m gonna put you right next to Andrew/Brian first round to take them down.

- Andrew, Brian, Jacob: I put up a challenge to everyone to dethrone you guys, and guess what everyone came up hellah short. However, let me say this. Jacob showed some close matchups against the Fuerte. Brian ALMOST GOT BEAT BY KATIE. And Andrew just plain beasted. However, in the end they stomped ppl out.

Sorry I wasn’t at the computer the whole time. I did fucking piss poor and was secretly raging inside… Spent a lot of time outside by myself writing in my diary and crying. Plus I was fucking sweaty as fuck… Glad it wasn’t 100 degrees outside or it would have been over for me. Are they actually getting air conditioning in there? I could see it getting pretty fucking horrible by the time june/july hit.
Oh, btw… I still need to get those videos from you, so lets work something out. I’m also ready to upload what I have, but since I wasn’t reliable and at the pc the whole time I’ll need the brackets to figure out what’s what to name the files. Email it to me?
